The first two hams were picked up. That whole leg took a bit of work. I hacksawed off the hock to get that thing in the smoker. The folks use smoked ham hocks to make their beans.
Next ham is being dropped off this morning in about 15 minutes.

I don’t get what you said Ken but I’m not very good at anything that’s inside jokes. I was raised that to say what you mean is a good way to obey the Bibles “let your yes be yes and your no be no.”
More orders are coming in for hams and pork loins. Folks are having reunions and July 4 gatherings and then there’s the folks who are coming back from vacation and realized they want theirs too. I’ve got the smoker going 18-20 hours a stretch to get it all done. The temperatures are rising again so our cool spell has disappeared. I hope we get another one. I think of Robert every time I put another ham on. Sure do miss his common sense and humor. My favorite meme of his was about banning shredded cheese to make America grate again. Time to head out and take off those pork loins. Then it’s another ham.

Reminds me of a PM I got from MaxPC/JohnL a while ago, telling me I’d never amount to anything and I was a worthless person and the evidence of that was that I confronted him on this forum.

(I had shared a struggle on the old forum, and he went and dredged up my old post and said my struggles are due to the above.)
