The New York Times reported on this. At the time, at least, they reported it as "unconfirmed", and were waiting on more information. They cited the White House as the source of this information.

I've been waiting to hear what comes of this, but that can take a while.

No need to wait; plenty of journalists have been publishing their own stories about this that aren't just based on the White House (although it's interesting you no longer consider government authorities a credible source). For example:

Rather notably, Tycen Proper is from an area with a large plain community presence (Danville, Ohio).

Incidentally, this appears to be one of those "right wing" terror cells you used to spend a lot of time warning us about; one of this fellow's grievances was that Trump was controlled by Israel or something, along with complaints not enough was being done about the Epstein files.

Yep. It was all over our news. They said it was a complex one too. One of the terrorists’ mama turned them in.

Must have been a sad day for her... a good reminder not to get into conspiracy theories on Internet forums.
