Ben Shapiro, Orthodox Jew, speaks definitively, including wrt his opinions on “what Trump should do” ..
He’s not always correct. He shares more detail about the region (and Pakistan) than the ordinary report.

“The Iran Deal: What We Know, What We Don’t, and Who Is Lying” / 36min
President Trump and the Pakistani Prime Minister announce an Iran memo of understanding…
and we break down everything we know, and what we don’t.

27:00 “What are the terms of the agreement?” ..
28:00 VP Vance

@leonardmacaulay9833 WROTE:
“The world has been saying that since 1948”

As always, where peace isn’t possible, i pray for resolution.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.

I'll believe it when it actually happens. Last I heard Iran demands Lebanon be included in this agreement and they were still talking about a "management" or "environmental" fee of some kind. Then there was the whole release of money Iran claimed would happen and the US said didn't happen.
I predict there will be massive payouts to Iran to lift the blockade but it will be hidden through third party countries so the administration can say they didn't pay anything to Iran. A country like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia or UAE will secretly pay or transfer weapons or some other form of currency to Iran and Israel or the US will secretly reimburse later.

I highly doubt that. It is far more likely the leverage will simply be releasing some of Iran's frozen funds back to them.

CBS / “Oil prices already dropping after U.S.-Iran peace announcement” / -2min

23 second mark:
$300B reconstruction
$24B release frozen funds
Hormuz to reopen
U.S. naval blockade lifted

- - - - - - -

Memory Lane:
Key points:
2008 peak: ~$4.11/gal in July 2008 U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
2008 low: ~$1.59/gal by late December 2008 Democratic Underground+1.
$1.87/gal: Occurred in February 2009, not 2008 Democratic Underground.
Context: The sharp drop in late 2008 was due to reduced global demand during the financial crisis, not a policy change by the Bush administration Democratic Underground.

If you are looking for a 2008 price of $1.87, it would have been in the first half of 2009, not 2008.
For 2008, the only time prices were near that level was in the final months of the year, just before the crash.
Yes. i’m looking for -$2/gal gasoline.

Well, I was actually basing what I said off of what actually happened. Iran claims that one of these other countries paid them a sum of like 20 billion. That country denies it, of course, and the US said something along the line of how funds would not be given to them, but then said something which made it sound very specifically like funds may have actually been released, but they weren’t actually wanting to publicly admit that we’re never going to know for sure though Because that’s how these things work

Iran's state media and official statements are some of the least credible things in the universe.

Some people, though, have such a deep-seated hatred for the current administration that they'll listen to obvious lies and deception instead. A sincere seeker of truth looks elsewhere than just official statements or finding someone who says, "Your enemy is a bad person!"

Now that the alleged SPLC corruption is being investigated, the bottomless pit of amoral partisans is harder to deny.

I would toss out there that amoral partisans might exist on both sides of the aisle.
