I don't know, but I don't think you will be disappointed with the quality of his content. If I have a question about a denomination, it's the first place I look.
Is it also available in written form?

This video may not be the best introduction to his work, then. At least for me.
Interesting. I didn't watch this one. Normally he tries very hard to present information as neutral as possible.

E, this is the first time I have watched one of his videos. In general, I can't tell if I want to watch a video unless I watch the video first, so I mostly don't bother. If someone takes the time to outline what is said and what was meaningful to him/her, that makes it easier.

Is he widely known within conservative Anabaptism?
No, but I watched that channel before I joined my church and he almost seemed very sympathetic towards anabaptism. Atheist had a very naturally anabaptist flavor to his channel

To make matters more interesting some church names like "Journey Church" are actually Assembly of God. It is just rebranding.

I’m thinking that’s right. I thought the video was really interesting and he made some good points.

I noticed that not many churches call themselves Holiness Pentecostals or even just Pentecostals anymore. They change their names or put the Pentecostal in small print. It’s still the same group of people just calling themselves a different name. I guess they’re trying to distance themselves from those PBS programs that showed people flopping on floors and handling snakes.
Every now and then I come across younger folks who don’t want guitars and drums in church anymore. They want preaching from the Bible but they don’t want the fire and brimstone shouting preachers. They want sermons seasoned with reason as I’ve heard them say.

Tim Keller planted a network of churches in NYC over the last 30 years appealing to this demographic.

This sounds accurate. Though I and most young people I know prefer stern preachers, but like you said "seasoned with reason". Fire and brimstone preachers are amusing, but provide awful church atmospheres imo

We try to get as many young men who are members as possible to bring an occasional message. Some are better thought out and better presented than others but without fail the congregation get more from them than messages from old heads like me. I wonder if the protestant (over?) emphasis on preaching may lead churches to look past what actually feeds the flock.

Many appear to have come to the conclusion that the “Toronto Blessing” was in reality no blessing at all. Wherever do you go when you’re convinced that it came not from God but from self (or someplace even darker).

Pretty much every major Pentecostal or charismatic group (Vineyard, AOG, Calvary Chapel) has decided to distance themselves from whatever went on in Toronto. The original reasons for it were things the Toronto people could have easily dealt with - for example, Vineyard wanted Toronto back when it was still TACV to focus more on local evangelism, outreach, and discipleship instead of running conferences to attract an international crowd, since Vineyard wanted to stop the phenomenon of people travelling long distances to go to wherever "the Spirit of God is showing up".

I personally believe it had a very dark, sad influence on my own family that remains a problem to this day.

Hillsong is also, nowadays, distancing itself from, well, Hillsong, and has created an episcopal structure with quite a bit of formal order and defined doctrine and practice and high standards for ministers/preachers/deacons/etc. and staff employees. It does look like they plan to eventually transition to a more congregational structure, but they are currently trying to figure out the right polity for "multi campus" churches.

What is the Toronto Blessing? I’ve never heard of that one.
