Trump and many US officials have cancelled other plans for the holiday weekend and are staying in DC. Indications point to a renewal of conflict with Iran very soon as talks have been unproductive. https://x.
i’m uneasy that President T is missing other engagements, including his son’s wedding, staying pretty quiet in D.C.
Praying for resolution.
It was of course Donald Trump Jr’s second wedding after divorcing his first wife and a long relationship and engagement with Kimberly Guilfoyle. Somehow Trump missing Jr’s wedding with his current woman doesn’t feel like that big of a deal.
It was also held in the Bahamas, and a President going to another country is a big deal. I remain mystified why the wedding couldn't be held at, I dunno, Mar-A-Lago, which I hear is a very nice, big, beautiful resort, or at a ballroom somewhere in DC.
(Note that he is not getting married to Guilfoyle.)

i don’t keep up with the elites’ romances+marriages+divorces.
i’m worried about T tho.
He’s got a big burden now, regardless of fault, regardless of outward appearances+chatter.
i don’t believe he’s taking it lightly, esp potential loss of life, regardless of “sides”.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.

I read that the Bahamas doesn't allow felons to visit.

Do you think that is accurate? It would have taken less than a minute for you to have been able to verify the Bahamas don't generally even ask about criminal history on standard entry forms for tourist visits.
Don't you, as a professing Christian, have an obligation to speak truth rather than spread lies?
The Bahamas does not allow entry to adjudicated rapists from the United States.
Other fact-check sources do not confirm this.
Another list that showed 34 countries that ban the visits of felons did not include the Bahamas.
I also note that nations can choose to waive this ban.
So I don't know if it is true or not. I think I was accurate in writing, "I read that..." It's only a widely held conjecture, as far as I know.

How is that relevant to Trump taking a personal visit to the Bahamas?
