^^imho, standard issue Trump.

meanwhile, is GENERAL ERROR about to visit? i’ve gotten some odd messages just now. :?

Like so:
Too Many Requests

The user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time.
This is an error often caused by lots of automated bots trying to access the board at the same time, apparently. Usually you can just wait awhile and it will go away. There are a few things a board admin can do to limit this sort of thing, but usually it goes away by itself.

Dan Z wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 10:33 pm I’ve said this before- but I think his aggressive and unpredictable negotiating style may advantage him with dictators and autocrats - like Kim Jong Un, over and against more diplomatic and placating presidents like Obama.
The public never knows in full, esp not IRT. Frequently, not ever.

i think DanZ’s 2018 words were prophetic, there are people who think very differently, they will not respect average or exemplary behavior, even if it costs them everything. Terrorists are known for it.

Trying to pound a square peg into a round hole (for decades) must be deemed fruitless at some point.
i have no insight into the future. From what i know, i hope+pray President T prevails, for the best of everyone.

i wouldn’t make decisions President T has made. He has made decisions and acted. i see no benefit in attempting to sabotage him, i pray for the earliest resolution possible. i have felt similarly toward other presidents. i may strongly disagree, that doesn’t mean i intend to sabotage them midstream. i pray for fast resolution to men’s follies. esp military violence. on every continent.

The world can be a mean, rough, ugly place.

Reading about J Mast on forum again today, and, separately, the 8 children murdered in Louisiana BY THEIR FATHER, reflects how ugly the world can be. Heinous crimes perpetrated on innocents by people not at war, but in privileged society.

Some days are hard to bear.

So much for ‘swimmingly’: Trump’s Iran policy stumbles after premature victory lap.
https://www.ms.now/rachel-maddow-show/m ... ictory-lap
What’s more, Trump has gone from patting himself on the back for winning the war to renewing his threats about restarting combat operations.
Around the same time, the Republican told Fox News, in reference to Iran, “We’re preparing to hit them harder than any country has ever been hit before.”
Seems like I have heard something like this before.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administra ... -pressure/
In a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote that he “read the Fake News saying that I am under ‘pressure’” to reach a deal with the Iranian regime.

“THIS IS NOT TRUE! I am under no pressure whatsoever, although, it will all happen, relatively quickly! Time is not my adversary, the only thing that matters is that we finally, after 47 years, straighten out the MESS that other Presidents let happen because they didn’t have the Courage or Foresight to do what had to be done with respect to Iran,” the president added.
I would love to see the MESS straightened out. But I haven't seen encouraging signs yet that the mess might get straightened out. It looks a lot to me like the sort of straightening out that the POTUS did in Iraq some years ago. Long term instability, millions of people suffering, and increased attacks on US personnel.

The madness is sending the vice President when there have been no negotiations, only demands.

Perhaps a question could be what can the US offer Iran that Iran could reasonably expect to remain available or in effect.

The U.S. is pretty much the only country that can persuade or control Israel.

You’re speaking with certainty i don’t have.

(In my life) i never believe the public has all facts, i believe even small facts can make big differences. After all, my elders, and reading about WWII, there was a well-known phrase, “loose lips sink ships” people took it seriously. i daresay the vast majority didn’t want to harm or have harm come their way. Today, words fly with abandon, egos and hubris are maximized, it’s an open competition.

Simultaneously, i believe much of media, many individuals, an entire political party is driven to interpret everything that’s said or done by T or anyone remotely associated with him as evil and unacceptable, shocking, scandalous, past the point of self-harm and overall harm to the U.S.

That’s a significant and deliberate stumbling block. Also, disturbing to witness.
