I can't say what the president intended with his picture but it seems like a sizable portion of MAGA thought it represented Jesus. Enough that he took it down and that is pretty rare.

Or he just responds to political pressure and if people tell him, “Folks didn’t like that” he’ll retract it.

It is very hard for me to predict what offends people. I can think of so many things the President has done and said that seem so much worse.

Well, I can easily now point to a bombastic statement of Doug Wilson that I disagree with. I don't think it was "blasphemous", but maybe that's because I don't really pay much attention to religious art.

Yes it's quite sad and we should remember that all of these people are... people, many of them lost souls in need of a saviour.

I see that Trump posted another picture. Hard to tell, but seems to be a picture of Trump with someone who may be a Red Cross doctor putting his arm around him.
