What’s interesting is that the Iranian’s 10-point demands / plan are the same 10 points from the beginning of the war. All that bombing and killing hasn’t shifted their position at all. I’m curious to see what will be negotiated, but considering the fact that the Iranians were negotiating with the US before the attack, I’m not convinced this will go anywhere. We’ll see.
Well, a significant change is that they've proven they can't be trusted with nuclear weapons, and they've alienated basically all of their neighbours to the west.

One thing has been clearly learned is that President Trump cannot be trusted, and the world knows this.

Following the USA's pattern. Maybe governments can't be trusted.

He can certainly be trusted more than the previous administration, of course you don’t admit that. He does what he says he will do- 50 years others tried to overturn Roe v Wade, who got it done? He profoundly stated this confusion of gender was going to quit affecting sports and he got that done, even took it to the Olympic committee-
He isn’t perfect but all world leaders I’ve heard knows when he says something he means it.
Coming from someone who preferred the previous administration who we know wasn’t even run by Biden himself it’s really the pot calling the kettle black.

I don’t think anyone trusted Iran with nuclear weapons before the war, but that’s not the point. If the bombing hasn’t changed any of Iran’s demands from before the war, then what did the bombing actually change?

So, Szdfan, what's your proposal for dealing with a homicidal regime whose stated goal is to destroy the state of Israel?

That’s a different question. If Iran’s position is the same as when they were negotiating with the US before the war, then it’s reasonable to ask whether the current approach accomplished anything. Did the US bombing actually accomplish its stated goals?

It simply shows the Iranian regime is still quite unreasonable. For example, they are demanding that the ceasefire include:
10. Cessation of war on all fronts, including in Lebanon
Last I checked, Lebanon is not part of Iranian territory.

I don’t think we had to spend billions to bomb a country and kill their leadership and civilians to know that the Iranians are unreasonable. We already knew that before the war.

In regards to meeting any of the US’s stated goals, what did the bombing actually accomplish?

It does seem to come down in price in late October of even-numbered years.

We just paid wholesale price of $4.36 gallon for gas, and $5.62 gallon for diesel. This is for a 10,000+ gallon truckload. We should have send truck to Ohio and bought a load from Costco.
