I was told that if I voted for Kamela, prices would go up and we’d be in a war with Iran. Turns out they right.
If you voted for Biden, prices and gas went up so?
What about what happened in Afghanistan under Biden? You don’t know that we wouldn’t have ended up in a war under Kamala, but I do know she would not address the threat in Iran if all she would say is don’t.
If we’re going to judge politicians by whether they keep their promises, I don’t think Trump comes out looking very strong either. Prices are up. We are at war. Trump said he was going to do the opposite.
He promised to protect this country and if this prevents future wars it’s altogether the best thing he could do and he’s helped bring peace to many other conflicts so in reality, we had low gas prices quite awhile, temporarily up now- will come back down. It’s not about my 491K, but if it’s an indication of overall economy, my & husbands 401K went up at a much greater percentage under Trump which more than makes up for increase in gas & prices (which were ALREADY up under Biden) just saying if that reflects economy- at all.
Hopefully the exposure of so much fraud & correction of its damages will help.

Art of the Deal in action. Big ask and then he backs away and lets the other side feel they got something when he gets everything he wanted to start with.
Again, I do not agree with it, but it is what it is.
It may be a legitimate tactic when the book was written, and his opponents weren’t as well studied on him.
The way that Wall Street frames the exact same thing, is T.A.C.O.
I don't understand people saying this. Did they not want a ceasefire and eventually a peace deal? Why are they framing this as "chickening out"?
Realistically bluffing has to be backed up or people will believe it’s toothless.
There are two logical outcomes then. Either President Trump is toothless or he meant his threat of annihilation.

Given the scope of the invasion so far, I don't think it was entirely a bluff, but I'm very glad that a ceasefire has been reached, particularly if it leads to a peace deal and a disarmament plan.

Prices are below Biden levels
Not sure where you live, but I just paid $6.70/ gallon for diesel the other day...highest I have ever paid for fuel.
I paid $3.59 at Costco last fill up. This is temporary, I suspect you live in a blue state, maybe I’m wrong, OH has NO such prices, not even close.
We bought a hybrid, perhaps you should buy an electric car?

What does a blue state have to do with it? And $3.59 for diesel?
I’m sorry, I missed that you said you buy diesel -
I said I drive a hybrid- 2025 Toyota Rav 4- does not take diesel.

“Beginning of the End for Iran” | Victor Davis Hanson / 9+min
President Donald Trump recently outlined the endgame for Iran. How does it end? There are three scenarios:
Bomb the mullahs back to the Stone Age, hoping a popular uprising takes root and overthrows the regime.
The Venezuela solution: Install a current, more moderate member of the regime as a transitional figure until elections can be held.
Bomb the infrastructure and leave.
Donald Trump recently outlined the end game for Iran. We’ve been there about a month, and he was saying in week five it would take two or three weeks, so maybe seven weeks total or two months. That got people very angry and said it’s an endless war.
And the people on the left, remember, don’t want the war to work
because they want to win the midterms.
And they’re not, they haven’t been successful so far in hurting Trump, but they feel that if they can create a narrative that this is an Afghanistan-like withdrawal, which they oversaw that was a disaster, or a Vietnam or an Afghanistan or Iraq,
maybe they can bring him down.
3 possibilities is better than 2, “either/or”.
i believe “we” are seriously remiss to ignore THE UNKNOWN - God’s will. In every circumstance.
God can’t be hammered down into limited human reasoning. His are called to faith and hope.
