Suppose they were bombing our schools and power plants, and we were the ones without power, unsafe living in our own homes in most cities, and our roads and bridges were being destroyed. Would we be saying that's no big deal, we can live without, clearly they must not have intended to bomb our schools?

Suppose Pete Hegseth spoke like the religious fanatic leaders in Iran .... well, maybe he does ...
Well chanting death to Israel and Death to America by them does somewhat indicate why we are trying to destroy their potential, doesn’t it? We know they have no regard for their own people either. Quite an evil government there.
And how do our leaders talk about them? How have we treated them and their government since the 1950s?

Seriously, don't our leaders threaten them EXACTLY the way we complain about when they do it to us?
Terrorists are terrorists.
If they are chanting death to America that is a threat.
They’ve slaughtered thousands OF THEIR OWN PEOPLE lately- innocent people! They’ve slaughtered are very evil. They just hung those 3 innocent men. Please do not defend them.

Sure. Afghanistan attacked us in 2001, 25 years ago, therefore we should obliterate a completely different country now in revenge?

Do you think Americans are doing a good job of showing that we care about the lives of Muslims? Either Muslims in their own countries or the Muslims who have fled from some of these countries to come here? Doesn't a lot of our rhetoric indicate we hate them and want to destroy them, just like the rhetoric we complain about when they do it to us?
They’re committing suicide because they were warned what to do to avoid it. Terrorists are terrorists. God himself commanded Israel to why about every man, woman and child in certain places did he not???
You should be on your knees praying their government cares about avoiding this. We were not warned on 8/11 nor was Israel warned on October 7.
They have slaughter well over 30,000 of timer own people and you blame Trump??

How soon we forget the horrors of 9/11 on innocent lives and October 7 innocent lives by terrorists with an ideology to wipe out Jews and Christians.
Those are horrors no one will forget. But does that justify the US doing the same thing? There are many innocent lives that will be affected in many ways - including death by bombing- if our president carries out his threat.

And now we have also killed thousands of their civilians, including many who opposed this government.

So ... when we do that, we are not evil, but when they do it, they are evil? Or are terrorists simply people who kill lots of civilians and threaten them to inspire fear?

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

They’re plan on wiping out many millions with what we’ve been trying to destroy there, they have been warned on how to avoid it. We had no warning, neither did Israel.
But their intentions are very clear to those who know-
As Christians we are willing to die but a Commander in Chief feels responsible for avoiding his own country getting nuked.

Our own internal intelligence reports apparently said they did not have that capability.

Of course, back when we were closely monitoring their nuclear program under the JCPOA agreements, we were in a better position to control this.

But ... haven't we now convinced them that larger, more powerful nations will attack them without warning, and they need to defend themselves however they can? Seems like the incentive for terrorism or nuclear weapons is greater now than it was before.

(Skye's point about the danger of invoking God's endorsement of your preferred candidate is timely as well...).
Complaining about the President is politics.

I also do not see how it is "blasphemous". I guess you could complain about naughty words, though.
Praying for the millions of innocent Iranian civilians caught in the middle of this. May God's angels be with them through this valley...
Are you also praying for the innocent Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, Bahraini, and many more civilians who are caught in this? Or just praying for Iranians?

"Incentives"? Has Iran ever showed any slowing down of terrorism or trying to develop nuclear weapons?

Iran's leaders regularly say "Death to America" and "Death to Israel". So we don't need to "imagine" that it's the other way around.

If Iran had the capability to do this, they would. They regularly bomb Israel (and, now, most of the Gulf countries) and they usually target civilian infrastructure (probably because it's easier to strike than military targets).

100% - all of the above. And this is not about justifying anything America and Israel are doing. It's just the facts.
