If one is a Christian and a nationalist, are they automatically a Christian Nationalist?

What is the definition of a nationalist?

Closest thing I have seen to actual treason in my lifetime.
Well now “treason” is a word that gets tossed around a lot whenever one side doesn’t like what the other side is doing here in the good ol’ US of A. Ohio Jones will like this for its precision. Did you know that the US Constitution differentiates the legal definitions between treason, sedition, and insurrection?
Here’s a good article on the only 15 people who were ever convicted of treason in the 250 years of US history. It’s interesting because as time passes the definition of treason and the proof required for that conviction has become a lot more rigorous. Notice that there were some who were convicted that were pardoned by Presidents starting with George Washington and others had their sentences were commuted when their cases were re-examined.
Every American Convicted of Treason and What Happened Next.

These are good questions, I have seen the phrase used to mean people who's political views are influenced by Christianity but I suppose this should also include people like Martin Luther King, James Talarico, GW Bush, B Obama and Jimmy Carter.

I reserve this title for those who combine the authority of Church with the power of the state to reduce the choices and freedoms of non Christians, or Christians who don't meet official approval.

Every government's moral and legal principles are originally based on the Bible and God's teachings to man, such as Adam, Noah, and Abraham. This is where laws like "Thou shalt not kill" come from.

Would you consider this "Christian nationalism"? Do you have any proposal for a basis for a government and laws other than God's laws he gave to man?

And this...is the crucial difference.

So, we can read the Bible and see exactly how God expects earthly governments to govern and conduct earthly affairs, and this is, indeed, the basis for all earthly government.

There is no other basis for laws like "Thou shalt not kill".

Well since that’s an opinion blog and not a legally recognized reference document like the US Constitution I’ll trust the definitions the US Constitution provides. One of the very first things taught in research classes for history is to distinguish between the official and legally binding references and mere editorial opinionating.

For the record, this is how treason is actually defined in Art 3, sec 3 clause 1 of the US Constitution;

Section 3 Treason
Clause 1 Meaning
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

Attacking the Congress and the Capitol to effectively overthrow the legitimate government in an organized and armed manner surely meets the definition of "levying War" against the United States. You can't call it anything else. I had to dodge roadblocks to get my wife to the Airport, and if you saw the scene in the airport hotel with the mob that came from there. They thought they had "won."

Correction. Illegitimate government.
A fraction of the thousands upon thousands of “peaceful protesters “ stormed in (and police helped) although the legitimate President (Trump) said to be PEACEFUL.
