I’m not sure how bombing Iran and killing civilians is going to get them to stop chanting “Death to America.”

Well they’ve killed a lot of our people in the past but we were not targeting civilians, that is not our way and you know it. An evil regime, perhaps as THEY slaughter their own, and you know this.

This is futile. Perhaps we are sympathizers to radical Islam or so it seems here.
I did not want to go to war. I hate war. I hate what’s happening. Maybe we should have let them keep doing what they do best, I understand radical Islams ideology as well as the false prophecy of them turning the world Islam and their own disgust with Muslims who are more passive.
I think Trump is totally unrealistic to believe they will surrender their ultimate goals.

When the Turks invaded our ancestors said things like Michael Sattler.
Sympathizers? not really, just devoted to the teachings of Jesus.Eighthly: If the Turks should come, we ought not to resist them. For it is written [Matthew 5:21]: Thou shalt not kill. We must not defend ourselves against the Turks and others of our persecutors but are to beseech God with earnest prayer to repel and resist them. But that I said that, if warring were right, I would rather take the field against so-called Christians who persecute, capture, and kill pious Christians than against the Turks was for the following reason: The Turk is a true Turk, knows nothing of the Christian faith, and is a Turk after the flesh. But you who would be Christians and who make your boast of Christ persecute the pious witnesses of Christ and are Turks after the spirit!

Yes, and confident in the power of the cross, both ours and Jesus', to defeat the prince of the power of the air who works through the disobedient. Confident the way of Jesus, his example of submission to the will of the father, obedience, willingness to suffer and living as defenceless sheep in a dark world will produce the victory God wants to see. Confident our calling to forego the coersive, worldly weapons is not meant to make victims but rather a calling to the heart of God, to participation in the redemption of all things in the very manner Jesus illustrated. It is a calling to true, lasting and effective power.Soloist wrote: Sympathizers? not really, just devoted to the teachings of Jesus.

No one is asking Anabaptists or any other Christian army to go help the cause. Just to recognize the “Commander in Chief” is doing what he thinks he needs to do to protect his own & allies- and leaders elsewhere are starting to agree.

Fleeing is one of the things Jesus specifically gave to his followers as a response to evil.
