no
But having people check the facts can be helpful for telling the truth. And sometimes the ability to spell and connect to basic facts does help credibility.
Yes. There are a couple of sides to this. I can't help but like and be intrigued by a completely unfiltered message from the President. It has a sort of authenticity that crafted, carefully vetted messages definitely do not.

On the other hand, it's kind of nice when people use correct spelling and grammar, particularly if the message is very important.

I see this in business all the time. There's something cringy about a business making social media posts or ads with all caps, misspellings, grammatical mistakes, and very sloppy selection or editing of pictures and graphics. I guess you know that the posts are authentic, probably made by the business owner who lacks time, expertise, or special staff to create the content. So there's that.

But I think it really pays to consider well your audience and many other things when you're putting out public statements or ads or information. I'd like to reach people who appreciate a good product or a job well done, and those people might notice if I'm careless about all this sort of thing. But the fact is some people don't really care I guess, and badly done websites or emails or social media posts don't really matter. You do you, as they say. It's a free country.

In a democracy, people vote for 1 President (and Vice President), not some unaccountable committee.

If you want decision making to flow through more than one person, the proper mechanism for that is something like a legislative body.

Many people are now skipping spell check in order to make their writing not appear to be AI generated or AI enhanced. I do this now myself. I used to have a specific writing style with perfect grammar, spelling, and emdashes that looks identical to AI.

Some people can spell without running it through AI. Some people have a staff that can check their spelling.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

This is nonsense.

A democracy and an autocracy are not the same thing. We did not vote for a king or an emperor - you keep implying that we did. And even a wise king seeks counsel and takes the time to get basic things right.

The word "president" means "someone who presides over ..." and what they preside over matters.

I suspect the last thing the founders who wrote the Constitution thought they were empowering was a king- like figure with singular authority. That was precisely what they were trying to avoid.

I guess the US is not a democracy.

Even if social media publishing is delegated to a person or committee, surely they would be as accountable as unelected cabinet members and other executive branch employees.

Last I checked Congress can pass any laws it wants. The President is no different today than Lincoln or FDR.

Appears like the Iranian official who has been communicating with the US about ending the war might be the speaker of the Iranian parliament, who reportedly flew from Tehran to Islamabad a couple days ago to meet his American counterparts. As always you take this sort of info with a grain of salt.
