2026 Minab school airstrike in Iran

It appears that Israel or the US bombed the school based on 10-year-old maps.

A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.

According to Iranian state media,
Ernie, that's not a reliable source. We don't know what happened, but the Iranian state media has every motivation to not tell the truth, and has a long history of doing so.

Yes. This regime has a long history of attacking their own people. I don't think it feels much different to a grieving family whether it was an Israeli or Iranian missile.

The Iranians have had trouble with missiles that peter out and just sink to the ground shortly after taking off. The U.S./Israel also have exactly zero motivation to attack a school, and lots of motivation not to.

The accusation is not verified- the White House press said not to spread unverified accusations

The CBC, which is very much a liberal and generally anti-Semitic news source and routinely blames Israel, is more circumspect here:

Yep I think it’s important to wait and hear all sides. In war the losing side and the winning side try to win public opinion. The terrorists in Gaza were hiding their weapons and people inside hospitals and schools to claim war crimes were committed when they were attacked. I’m agonna wait until the dust settles. God is in control and I’ll just keep praying.

Every major power has accidentally killed civilians. Every major power has killed civilians to kill a target. Even if this actually happened, chances are the reason was due to hiding something there. Generally speaking, American weapons are fairly accurate.

pray it was not deliberate.
so much harm is done deliberately, even to children, the most by unorganized civilians, as well as military.

pray for quick resolution for all conflicts everywhere, civilian and military.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.

I imagine this is true, the weak point is often human intelligence. The most accurate weapon in the world will strike a wrong target accurately if directed to do so.

And since when are they the censors? I think the First Amendment covers that sufficiently.
