The operation is supposedly costing the US from $40M-150M per day. A couple of jets one way or the other are just pocket fuzzies compared to what they are and will be spending on this operation.

Thankfully.
As well, each pilot represents a fortune in training, as well as their humanity. It’s all a terrific weight to carry.

And to hope they’re never put in action.

The ground training is important, hopefully, to avoid friendly fire.
It’s a tremendous burden i couldn’t imagine.
