When DNA tests incorrectly show a woman is not the mother of the child she gave birth to, it usually triggers legal investigations into fraud or kidnapping, as seen in cases like Lydia Fairchild's. This rare, shocking result is often caused by human chimerism, where a person has two sets of DNA, causing blood tests to mismatch the child while tissues like the ovaries or cervix match

I don’t see it as complicating gender. Which “parts” work for its God-given design and which ones don’t work are in the category of an appendix that can be removed.
Or did your autocorrect change DNA to gender?
Maybe a lot of single babies who come from families with twins or triplets have two sets or even 3 sets of DNA it’s just not tested for in a way that would discover it.
Now I can see where chimera folks can complicate crime scene investigations. I remember a tv murder mystery show that had an episode about a man who committed a murder but his DNA didn't match the crime scene DNA. Don’t remember the name of the show but the episode was pretty memorable.

What I mean is that you can have an outwardly male, genetically male with female reproductive organs due to the second fetus being part of the first. This dimorphism is one of the only legit transgender cases to argue on. Its also exceedingly rare

I see. But I hear the second set of reproductive organs don’t work. That’s why surgery to remove is an option because they can be vulnerable to developing cancer. It has something to do with the immune system deciding to attack the secondary set.Soloist wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:03 amJohnL wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 6:18 amI don’t see it as complicating gender. Brings up another question. What’s the average lifespan of a chimera person?

Generally. I've heard of exceptions. It also often is undetected until after puberty.
