Thanks Thomas, for the interesting video -- she gives many Bible references to Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the Jews, and the only Savior of the whole world.
Are you a supporter of ONE FOR ISRAEL organization?
Is anyone on this forum familiar with them and their ministry?
From their website...
https://www.oneforisrael.org/about/
"Established in 1990, ONE FOR ISRAEL began as a Bible college and has since expanded to a multi-faceted ministry with the express goal of reaching Israelis with the Good News of Yeshua, training and equipping the Body of Messiah in Israel, and blessing our community with Yeshua’s love.
The story and ministry of ONE FOR ISRAEL is part of something much larger – the miraculous restoration of the Jewish people and the miraculous unity between Jewish and Arab believers in Jesus.
We are seeing not only the physical restoration of Israel after a 2000-year exile, but a spiritual revolution is taking place right in front of our eyes. Jewish people are returning to their God and accepting the Messiah in numbers not seen since the early church! Not only that, but many Arab people are coming to the Lord and many Arab believers are finding a deep unity with their Jewish brothers and sisters.
ONE FOR ISRAEL exists to do ministry within this miracle.
We are Jews and Arabs, together serving Messiah Jesus, sharing the Gospel with Israel and the world, making disciples, training leaders, and blessing our communities in the name of Yeshua."

My spiritual perspectives are Jesus-centered, evangelical anabaptist, New Testament Bible based...
Re: The Theological Crisis of Zionism: Blasphemy, Supremacism, and the West
danfreed,
I am always a little suspicious of people who spell Jesus "Yeshua" in English and of "Messianic" movements in general; they tend to be associated with evangelical Protestants who decide to randomly practice aspects of the old law, which the New Testament explicitly speaks against.
But other than that it looks like something positive.

John, let’s try this again. I did not raise the subject nor initiate using Catholic terminology. You did
So, since you used it, and it is incorrect, I corrected it. I do prefer that instead of us arguing about it, you just avoid dragging the poor benighted Catholics into every thing. I know every time I look at the title of this post I certainly have nothing to offer.
Munsterites are Anabaptists. Munsterites are violent. Therefore Anabaptists are violent.
This is not proper logic.

Is NA part of current Catholic thinking and teaching? As far as I can tell, it is. Do you have evidence that it is not?JayP wrote: ↑Thu Feb 12, 2026 6:09 pm John, let’s try this again. I did not raise the subject nor initiate using Catholic terminology. You did

I like this except for the part in bold. This makes me a bit nervous. I don't begrudge the state of Israel but neither do I make it a cornerstone of God's redemptive plans. Those plans will succeed if the nation state of Israel rises or falls. This seems to be the corollary of Christian Nationalism, God is fixing the world by making my nation great therefore no moral calculation can be made about the cost.https://www.oneforisrael.org/about/

One of the odd things about Christian Zionists is they want utter Israeli nationalism that in turn is quite anti-Christian. For example, it’s illegal to try to evangelise a Jewish person in Israel.

I had never heard of the organization ONE FOR ISRAEL. The statement you posted seems excellent to me, and I think it's great that they have this desire to unite and preach the good news to both Arabs and Jews.

I don't think that's true. The internet tells me that it is not illegal though there was a bill before the Knesset that tried to make it so back in 2023. The bill ultimately failed. While restrictive, the restrictions (and punishments) are quite liberal compared to Muslim countries.

Assuming that website is correct, this is even more galling:HondurasKeiser wrote: ↑Mon Feb 23, 2026 1:42 pmI don't think that's true. In other words, what defines one as a "Jew" is "not being a Christian".In accordance with the Law of Return, any Jewish person (or descendant of a Jewish person up until the third generation) in entitled to obtain the status of an ‘ole‘ (new immigrant) in Israel, as long as they did not convert to another religion. In general, the State of Israel considers Messianic Jews to be Christians, and any Jew that joined the Messianic stream of Judaism as a convert to Christianity. Thus, aliyah to Israel for a Jew that converted to Christianity is very difficult.

The converted Jews i’ve met IRL have all had “striking” insights and understanding of their Christian faith.HondurasKeiser wrote: ↑Mon Feb 23, 2026 1:42 pmI don't think that's true. One was a pastor of a non-denom busy church (not mega) with diverse attendance, lots of youth, plenty of elders, lots of messages for young adults navigating marriage and families.
He described his own family experience, being the only Christian. No grudges or ill will in his remarks.
He preached from his Bible which he kept nearby and open.
i’ve read, compared to neighboring Muslim countries, Israel is quite liberal wrt visitors and citizens.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.
