Looks like I won't be going after all. I sprained an ankle. :-(

I'm tempted, but it being my wife's birthday today, wisdom will be known of her children and I shall refrain. Having said that, I'm curious if they are finally going to ship the pre-ordered copies from this past summer - the chap at Menno Life had said they would ship them in late Fall (I presume we're on the back end of that particular season...).

Oh no! I was thinking about going in part to meet you again. I guess we'll have to do that somewhere else, some other time. Hope you heal quickly.

A Confessing Church would acknowledge the inescapable realities of sin and injustice in every human institution, including every political party. It would wholeheartedly reject any suggestion that one party or movement is the party of God. Paul D Miller

Perhaps someone could wheel you in?

After all, 38% of Stanford students are disabled, so if we can accommodate our nation's best and brightest at top colleges, surely we can handle a little extra accommodation at a book signing...

One would expect that pre-ordered copies not picked up in person tonight will be picked up by the postal service in the next day or so. I will be keeping my eyes on the mailbox.

They will get packaged tomorrow and mailed beginning of the week.

Somebody's trying to get rich.

Is the entire new printing sold out already or what?

Looks like automated software that is basing the price on the current selling price and then grabbing the most recent cover image.

My copy of The Earth Is The Lords arrived in the mail today. That book is thick. Just glanced through it. I don’t believe I’ll ever read it in its entirety.
