No matter whether this thread should be under Menno Light or not, I hope some of you can still see the humor in some of the responses to the "ham sandwich attack".

Yep. I love cheesy humor.
Healthy humor includes being able to find a funny in some of today's headlines (as long as no one has been killed or hurt). The Babylon Bee is a great source of such humor.

Lettuce just say some of the comments shredded it.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

And the cheesy humor was less grating.

The comments sliced and diced the issue, that was for sure.

ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 7:25 pm I read this as implying that some of my posts (or questions maybe?) in the Sabbath thread could have benefited by having been reframed. Do you think that is the case? How about quoting here a couple of those posts that should have been reframed so I can better understand what you're talking about?
I personally didn’t see anything wrong with your questions, ken_sylvania. If someone wants another’s questions reframed then I have to ask why. Here are some reasons I’ve come across in dealing with others.

Thank you, but I imagine for those of us who tend toward similar styles we won't see any problem with other people who write like we do.

My intent for this thread is not to solicit support for my communication style, but to learn and improve. I'm hoping to learn how to improve my communication.
In my opinion that makes you one of the better Christians and I applaud it. You don't use aggressive speech such as mockery. You sincerely seek the peaceful route.

I appreciate the conversations with yourself, Robert, Judas Maccabeus, Neto, Barnhart and Ernie. There may be a few I'm forgetting but I'll probably remember their names as I'm about to fall asleep tonight. I'm taking a break from the forum for now. I'm getting ready for a full Christmas season and an operation right after. God bless you and your families.

On the other hand, the season seems to get shorter every year.

The hidden posts have been restored. I did not say Barnhart's was among them, but you may now peruse his insights.
