You would be wrong. I personally know CA families that are very sympathetic to Doug Wilson, and others that have actually moved to Moscow to join the movement and have their children baptized.
Then they aren't Anabaptists and have fallen into false doctrine. As I said, I "hoped" they would not be attracted to Calvinism, but yes, I am aware that Calvinism lurks in many places.
An Amish friend of mine said he thinks Calvinism is actually a graver error and worse for a plain person to fall into than Catholicism.

I don't know about the rest of you, but my Bible doesn't call for the disciples of Christ to fly in private jets and live in mansions that would put Roman emperors to shame.
I'm not aware of Doug Wilson flying private jets; as far as Bill Johnson goes, I witnessed him on a not-so-private jet a number of years ago in Cleveland.

I'm scratching my head, wondering why these "godly" men are wanting to read garbage....
I thought Judas was referring to some sort of content that would cross Robert's "acceptable political/religious/discussion criteria line" (a line I haven't been able to figure out yet) and would consequently get banned. Once I learned that it was vulgarity and profanity, I have no further interest in reading.

A wee little man can’t say, I’m sorry. A big man owns his mistakes and apologizes.
A wee little man trusts himself and his own discernment. A big man is humble enough to know that he needs the counsel and input of others.

So we are defending the lavish lifestyles of mega-pastors on an Anabaptist forum now? What is the net worth of these two, do you know? Jesus is definitely good business in this country, that's for sure. Provided that you sell the right kind of Jesus that people want to pay for.

I don't know anything about Doug Wilson, but I'm not aware of Bill Johnson living a lavish lifestyle to the point of flying around on private jets. I don't think it's worthwhile to criticize a list of people with accusations that aren't even true, and it in fact undermines the point I think you were trying to make.
Bill Johnson / Bethel is not "selling" any kind of Jesus. Their church services are free and they don't really have a focus on a prosperity gospel. They have free doctrine classes where they promote their doctrines/theology. I have never perceived them as really having any kind of pressure to donate, or at least not more than any pretty much any other sort of average church.
I don't know as much about the other people in the list.
That is exactly what I am referring to. I have been sent content from his blog that would cross the line of “explicit and demeaning content “ with regard to role of women. I will not link to it, it may have been scrubbed, but i somehow doubt it. I just hope no one in our circles takes this seriously. He simply craves attention.
I think he is an earnest postmillenial reformed Christian who sincerely believes that it is the mission of the church to increase its power and influence and population in order to usher in the millennial reign and prepare for the 2nd coming of Jesus. I honestly think he seems like someone who would shy away from "attention" except that it can be leveraged to support that mission.
Reconstructionism is the antithesis of Anabaptist Christianity. It also requires herninuctical leaps that are incomprehensible.
Agreed; but I doubt Doug Wilson cares about how much his theological position differs from the Anabaptist outlook. The one quote I remember of his concerning anabaptists makes this exceedingly clear:
Doug Wilson wrote:The anabaptist position—that of withdrawal from “the society of the world”—is wrong-headed in my view, but it is not incoherent. The anabaptist says that he is not going to bear the sword, that it is not lawful for him to bear the sword, and so he is going to go out into the countryside of eastern Pennsylvania in order to drive a plow instead. This is an error, but consistent.

The Bible is very easy to understand. But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers. We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minute we understand we are obliged to act accordingly.
