If you believe in freedom for some but not all, then you don't really believe in freedom at all, you believe in privilege.
I find comparing religion to pornography particularly disgusting.
Freedom of religion and freedom of speech are right there next to each other in the First Amendment to the Constitution. In the same sentence actually. I didn't put them next to each other. James Madison did.

And it protects religion we like and don't like. As well as speech we like and don't like.

The Supreme Court said it is in Miller. V California. And in this country they have the last say, not you.

The Supreme Court has said a lot of things. They are not God. Pornography is not speech, and is indeed a restless evil that should be eliminated.

Many people say the same exact thing about religion. Especially minority religions.

Ken,

Do you really believe pornography is a social good?

I think I agree with this. I've read accounts from sex workers because I'm interested in why people do the things they do. At the same time, I also don't want to participate in either sensationalism or moral panic. I don’t want to boost the visibility of someone who clearly profits from that attention.

Ken,

Nowhere have I made such a claim. In a free society you get the good and the bad.

For example, I wouldn't consider high-capacity Glocks and AR-15s to be a "social good". In fact they are deadlier than porn. But they are also protected by the Constitution so I'm not wasting my time trying to get them banned. However, just like porn, I don't think they should be in the hands of children either.

The Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that ordinary porn (but not child porn) is free speech protected by the First Amendment. This subject has been litigated to death in this country.
