It’s probably known, painted furniture goes back.
i like it. My daughter has a chest i’d like to add a painting to, never decided just what.
The top has some damage, we thought of filling that in, then adding a decorative panel. It might be anything, from a plain monogram, date, or something like a floral display. Too many ideas!

Old German chest, i think:

Painted furniture is awesome. I’d love to see more of your project as you finish it.

^^you’ll probably be a grandfather before anything’s done.
the chest is 2000 miles away, not much hope it’s going to move closer.

That doesn't sound like much of an obstacle. Remote control painting was a thing back in our grandfathers' day already, and I'm sure it has come a long way since then.

i wasn’t thinking of Jackson Pollock, but, i appreciate his madness, too. madness can enrich life. (madness is my word.)

Working on my Spring Honey Do list getting ready for The Easter Invasion. April is going to be a very long month - even if it’s only 28 days.

Lakeview, who I did maintenance for for 2 years and I quit last year is pressing me to come back. Meeting with the Maintenance director later this morning. Will give him my list of demands. I have a feeling he will accept them.

At church yesterday, in the ladies' meeting, one of the older women related how her grandson's trailer burned on Sunday. He and his wife fled to the outside, forgetting the dog in his cage, but when he turned around, the whole trailer was up in flames beyond saving. Sad. But afterward, the firemen found the dog still in the cage, unharmed. He and his wife lost their display hutch, but inside the charred remains was her grandmother’s white Bible, untouched. And if I understood correctly, when he returned to work, people were walking by and sticking money in his pocket.

Another weather warning day, tornado warnings and watches, thunderstorms, etc. Until 10pm tonight.
It was threatening earlier. uneasy lightning. It’s nice now, pretty sunset, i think it’s mostly over.

I’m interested in the JohnL calendar reforms.
