The only way that is support for changing diapers is if you identify as a diaper, seeing as it says "we" shall be changed.
OJV translates that "wee" shall be changed, referring to babes in Christ.

By the way, those fold-down tables you see in some restrooms ... are they diaper changing stations, or baby changing stations?
I figured that was where folks swap out their babies once they get tired of them...

Perhaps not a politician but a ruler certainly.
Ken is using a different definition of politician than I would.

One definition of politican: Someone actively engaged in conducting the business of a government, or someone who olds or seeks political office. Political office is a position of authority or responsibility in a government.

Genghis Khan formed and restructured governments, imposed laws, and united groups through negotiation, military force, and diplomacy. He was deeply involved in statecraft. I think that makes him a politician.

Moses judged civil disputes, created a legal code (the Torah), delegated authority, and negotiated relations with Pharaoh and neighboring nations. He organized the tribes under a structured system with judges and tribal leaders. He governed a nation, made law, and helped establish national identity. I think that makes him a politician.

Herod was also a politician.
Definitions are what you want to make them. Let's look at some modern examples of the point I was making:

In Britain: Keir Starmer, Rishi Sunak, Boris Johnson, and Teresa May are politicians. They seek votes and engage in politicking. King Charles and before him Queen Elizabeth were not. Even though all were engaged in the business of government. In fact, the British monarchs studiously avoid politics. They are above politics and remain as monarchs regardless of which party is in power.

In the US, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris are politicians. Chief Justice John Roberts and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are not. Even though all are engaged in the business of government and all have tremendous power. But just like the British monarchs, the Chief Justice and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs should studiously avoid politics. And should not be making their decisions and wielding their power to advantage one party or faction over another.

There are multiple ways that one can become a leader of a country or nation. One way is to engage in politics and seek election. Another way is through military might and conquest. A third way is through "divine right" inherited monarchy. King Charles did not gain his throne through politics. He was born to it. Likewise, during WW2, the Japanese didn't gain sovereignty over the Philippines and Burma through politics. They did so through military conquest. It was generals marching at the head of an army on behalf of their divine emperor.

By contrast, one can engage in politics and seek political office without seeking power. The elected school board members of small town school districts are politicians and engage in politics because they seek votes and get elected, but work as part-time volunteers in a thankless job. Doing work that is frankly little different from say a church elder or treasurer managing the operations of a church. And they aren't engaged in anything to do with war and peace, military force, law enforcement, or justice. They are just managing a public institution more or less the same way as anyone managing an equivalent private institution.

I wish I could easily add a daily posing limit, but it is just not easy to do with the current software.
You could ask for an "honor system" and optionally also have a dedicated message board for people who feel the need to go back and forth with each other. (Sometimes useful discussion happens that way.) I would be glad to participate in such an exercise.
in retrospect, i hope my suggestion was not misunderstood as any type of slight to justme. not at all.
her OP was fine, and not asking too much. i agree, such requests are based on the honor system. with varying results!

jm’s request is a good starting place.
every member has a different starting place .. and, i believe not everyone reads the OP before posting. topics bunnytrail. i may have been the worst of all at one time. i hope not so much anymore. that’s for others to judge. :?

no shame in learning curves. in this case, i imagine it would be a short curve. i have faith. :)
i don’t believe there are any dedicated miscreants present.

i want to clarify, no slight intended. far from it.

- - - - - - -

i’m not sure what JohnH means wrt a message board. i’m not opposed, not sure what it is.
with or without, response might continue on the next day .. which often happens, anyway.

i’m unsure about what a limit would be. 7? 10? 3? 12?
3 might seem rigid to those with high post counts, 12 might seem too loose to matter to others.
i would accept whatever was chosen. i would try! :blah:
And no way HondurasKeiser wrote this. I think someone is playing April Fools jokes. Anyone want to hazard a guess who it was?
