BEACHYAM.ORG Problem?

Post by Mayberry »

Once in a great while I visit BEACHYAM.ORG . Well, yesterday I decided to give them a visit. Oops! My persnickety security package (BitDefender) had a fit, strongly suggesting that I do not proceed. Since this security package has previously warned me about minute details that I am not a bit concerned about, I simply choose to ignore the warning for a site that I felt comfortable with. Nope! This time my web browser (Firefox) joined in and refused to connect to BEACHYAM.ORG for the same reason. Yes, I quickly surrendered.

I understand the common difficulties of false positives, outdated certificates, flags for non-https sites, etc.

Since BOTH my security app and my browser panicked, I am now convinced that something has actually happened to this site. If I had an email address for them, I would sent a note of inquiry. I do not.

Does anyone know what has happened to BEACYAM.ORG ?

Nothing is wrong with it other than that it does not have SSL.

Using this link might fix it for you: http://beachyam.org/

You can also just click to "ignore" certificate errors.

Yes. After three attempts, I was finally allowed to proceed. Someone on this end must be a s-l-o-w learner. Grin.
All seems good.
