No. But I would suggest that the individuals doing this need some serious counseling. Measles can kill, or do you deny that?
By that standard, anyone who chooses to drive with kids in the car needs some “serious counseling”.
It is entirely a personal decision whether to vaccinate against measles or not. Measles mortality is as low as 1/10,000 cases (UK) and deaths were usually associated with comorbidities.
Yes, measles mortality goes WAY WAY down if you are vaccinated. We know that. And even if you are one of the rare 1% or so who still gets measles despite being vaccinated, the severity, side effects, and mortality of the disease is much lower. So the vaccine still protects you even if it isn't 100% effective in preventing disease.
And it is not entirely a personal decision because the consequences go beyond the individual or family. Communities with low vaccination rates invite outbreaks. So your choice not to vaccinate affects your entire community and the likelihood that it will see an outbreak. Most people care about more than just themselves and seek not to harm others.
I’ve heard all the pro vaccine propaganda before. Yet there is no non stem cell based version available nor one that isn’t in a combination. I don’t think combination vaccines are a good idea. They exist to pad pharmaceutical profits.
I have since looked into actual vaccine safety and risks and have found they are basically unnecessary. Nonetheless folks like yourself threaten some kind of apocalypse if we choose to live out our conscience. I will not live with using feral stem cells in my conscience. I wish you would respect our conscience and decision.

My kids aren't at risk. They are vaccinated. The only people who have to live with their conscience here are those who chose to let their children die of an easily preventable disease. And those who made that event more likely by welcoming the spread of the disease into their community.

Great. Then you should have no problem with those of us who live out our conscience.

I would suggest your conscience is severely warped if it requires that you throw parties to deliberately expose your children to potentially deadly and easily preventable diseases.

Do you think abortion is wrong?
Yes, abortion is wrong except when the mother's life is in jeopardy. My cousin had to terminate a pregnancy due to this.
Dr. PIerre Kory pulled in to review the case with Children's Health Defense is saying it wasn't even Measles that killed the child. Unfortunately, it was a secondary pneumonia infection that they selected the wrong antibiotics for. Sounds like they even realized which ones to use but were too late in getting them to the patient.
Now I can see the logic of the secondary infection followed by the vaccine-preventable infection and therefore could have been stopped.
But pneumonia infections can happen in all sorts of ways and do. I also suspect that while rare this type of death probably happens with children following the vaccine schedule as well.
I think people should chill out about casting blame on a tragedy. I don't think we'd blame parents for owning a pool if there was a tragic downing for example.
There are people out there noting that there was a long delay in the introduction of the measles vaccine and the uptake we have today and in that delay, we didn't suffer the scourge of disease that some on here suggest we would if uptake was allowed to drop too low.
Frankly, all this type of information, these details of the case, this data on population results versus updates, should be part of the story for those concerned with the 'scientific' understanding of the situation.

JohnH, do you believe you can be pro-life and hold a "measle party"?
Yes. Communicable diseases are an entirely normal part of life. Some childhood illnesses are universal (a few of them woud be the common cold, COVID-19 is a new one, the flu is another one). Chicken pox parties another normal thing.
It is interesting how sinful man tries to "prevent" all diseases, yet ends up with very poor health as a result. Western man is the sickest he has ever been - chronic obesity, diseases like depression, widespread anxiety, diabetes. It is worthwhile to consider why these things have become so common when they did not used to be. Life used to be a lot harder than it is now.

Oh please. Pierre Kory is a complete COVID quack who lost his board certification for relentlessly spreading false information for profit. Now we are into measles denialism too?
