A former prisoner, whom I wrote and visited with his mother for many years, called me on Sunday, asking for prayers, saying he has demons. He assures me that he still loves God. In spite of the fact that he is a drug addict, has committed robbery, hit and run, and DUI, and just completed another stint behind bars.

He sent me videos of demons crawling over his eyes and body. I turned them off because it appeared he had no clothes on. He is losing his mind because he chose sin instead of Jesus. I told him it will be his choice to repent and turn to Christ, but he is self-deceived into thinking he is saved. He probably does have demons, but they're not just "parasites" as he calls them. They have control of him. Please pray for conviction of sin, repentance, and faith in the Lord Jesus before it is too late.

Thought I'd drop this here real quick:

My son has been dating a young lady for a little while. She works with rescue animals both as a career plus she volunteers with another organization.

I found out early this morning that yesterday afternoon she was attached by a new dog that was surrendered to them, and she sustained some pretty nasty injuries. The dog had no papers to prove vaccinations, no history as where the dog has been. They're assuming the dog had rabies by the way it acted.

She is currently hospitalized at Hershey Medical Center with a lot of unknowns. Prayers appreciated.

Dennis Prager

i just learned Dennis Prager had a very bad fall - about a month ago.
Spinal cord injury, it will take months to know his outcome.

Meanwhile, prayers.

2025

A close family member has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She’s started chemo. A bit my senior.
From what i gather, it’s to be kept quiet and denied. “Everything is fine, chemo is no problem.”
i advised my daughter, most affected, to be ready to travel there very quickly.

i’m full of dread. i believe this is one of the most painful and deadly diagnoses. i’m sad about the denial.
denial may make reality even harder for loved ones. having time to say and act out good bye is a precious thing.
i accept her choice. there is no escaping sadness.

when i was young, there were so many taboos.

on the bright side, she has so much to live for. that can make a world of difference.

Prayer Requests

Post by JohnL »

I didn't see a thread for prayer requests so I thought I'd start one.
We're praying for the folks who lost family in that DC air disaster. Msm is already trying to throw blame and that's putting the families through a lot more grief. I can't imagine losing a loved one then having him or her blamed for the accident.

I am praying, also. Even a chief executive started to throw blame. It's too early. Let's add a safer system to our prayers.

Another airplane crash this time in Philadelphia. Homes and people on the ground burned. Prayers needed.

Let the experts review the evidence, the black boxes/recordings etc. Until they see and examine no one has a clue what happened - even if it looks like something was evident.
Instead of speculating let's pray for all the families that are hurting.
i’m doing lots of both. i’m sure many are.
reports seem to have narrowed the central problem down to the chopper.

i pray the families turn off ALL media.
for me, even if all text and noise were silenced, the images of the collision would be unbearable.
