Anyone here using these glasses I see advertised now?
--- Special glasses that reduce the glare from hazards like the blue headlights people seem to like now.
(I would need to have some that fit over my regular eye glasses.)

I wear some with yellow lenses that fit over top of regular glasses. They are helpful for glare, and they help with contrast in snow or fog.

Do they help see the drones more clearly?

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

was this comment meant to be snarky? as if the drones don't exist or are just in peoples imaginations?
NY governor is demanding answers from the fed gov about all these drones

they had to shut down runways at an nyc area airport because of these things.

It was meant to be funny, without indicating anything about what people are seeing. I use humor to relieve tension, and I think things have gotten a little tense around here. Thanks Boot. It is easy to see that a discussion on anti-glare driving glasses could become tense very quickly.Bootstrap wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 3:05 pmIt was meant to be funny, without indicating anything about what people are seeing. Yeah, we should all wear whatever glasses it takes to see clearly, and just relax.Silentreader wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 7:48 pm Thanks Boot. It is easy to see that a discussion on anti-glare driving glasses could become tense very quickly.

Re: Anti-Glare Night time glasses
I’ve used them for night driving ever since those blue-ish headlights became popular. The oncoming traffic makes it difficult to see at night especially in wet conditions. Mine fit over my glasses too. Mine are polarized to help with lessening glare.

I wonder if you might need something that would block laser beams for that....
I have heard that these special glasses help with not being blinded by bright headlights of on-coming vehicles, especially the blue ones, and the people who don't think to dim their lights until after they have already blinded you, or not at all. Actually, so of the worst ones now here in our local area are the electric bicycles. Those lights are extremely bright, and I don't think the bikes have a low-beam setting. (Reminds me of a ticket I got back when I was in college. I worked nights to try to pay as much of my school bills right along, as much as I could. I worked 9 hour nights, and got off at 1:30 AM. One night I was on my way home, and a car came up behind me with their brights on. My eyes are always a bit sensitive to bright lights, maybe from my tendency for migraines, I don't know. Anyway, usually I would slow down to get them to pass, but this time I sped up. It was a cop, and he pulled me over for speeding. I told him that I only sped up to get away from his high beams, but he denied having them on.)
But now, as I get older, driving at night has become even harder for me. So I thought something like this might help, because my wife cannot drive at all after dark - macular degeneration has taken most of her sight in one eye. So I'm asking for reviews, if anyone here has used them.

What brand, and have you tried any other brands?
