I suspect he's lobbying for a job in the Trump Administration, probably the Chief of Navel Operations.

“Dark MAGA” is pretty good. 8-)

So he is going to give up on his day jobs running Twitter, SpaceX, Starlink, and Tesla to.....audit thousands upon thousands of individual agency books? When he has zero experience or training in doing so? The same guy who bought Twitter for $44 billion and promptly managed to lose $35 billion in value?

For example, how many post offices do you think there are in the US? The answer is 31,123. Each one has its own separate budget and books to audit. How many FBI offices? How many US Marshalls offices? How many Federal prisons? How many US military bases around the planet? How many Federal court houses? How many National Weather Service forecast offices? How many Social Security offices? How many airports in the US with federal air traffic controllers, customs and immigrations offices, ag quarantine inspection offices, and TSA offices?

The "entire Federal government" is vast. And the notion that any one person even with actual training and experience auditing government books could meaningfully audit even a tiny fraction of it is laughable.

We actually have an independent Federal agency called the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) with hundreds of employees that is under the direct authority of the president and whose actual job is to oversee the Federal budget and audit spending by Federal agencies. Trump should probably be thinking of who he is going to appoint to be director of OMB should he win the election, and no, it isn't going to be Elon Musk.

Section 230 has been discussed on forum a few times, mostly in this topic.

And what is Trump's position on Section 230? Let's check. Hmmm....In his own words it is:

My young virtual friends react to Musk’s -short- speech.
The doctored memes above are a great example of how a tiny moment in time can be exaggerated beyond recognition. :D

Musk’s comical flare tends to be understated .. for instance, his “dark MAGA” comment.
Actually, his awkward little jump was, too. Elon is a wanna-be Babylon Bee guy.
i don’t think he was the one doctoring up pics for the internet.
