Progress report? :)
I’m up and about. I am getting on with life pretty good, not laid up anymore. Sometimes I feel perfectly fine. This last week it’s been cramping in the mornings, but I just hobble around anyway. Afternoons as evenings are generally a lot better. Planning to go to physical therapy soon. Am taking Gabapentin, which is a nerve medicine. That seems to be effective.

I do drive. It’s a pain to go too far. PT is about 30 minutes away.

I'd like to thank everyone who prayed for me, and I'd like to report it worked!

The respiratory distress I was experiencing causing my blood oxygen levels to drop to dangerous digits (in the 70's & sometimes lower) when I would walk no further than from my bed to the bathroom in the hospital has vanished. I still use supplemental oxygen when I'm going to be walking any distance, but even then my oxygen levels aren't dropping like that anymore.

Praise God!

Also, my perforated Duendum surgery was perfect, and I am no longer troubled by that problem either!

There is power in prayer, and I have experienced it. Thank you all, and thank you Jesus!

His obvious condition really hurts national security in the eyes of world leaders.

It is sad, I feel badly for him. I hate the mocking & jokes. God does not like mocking at all.
Reality is he cannot serve another term- but who will they surprise us with?
i don’t believe anyone on forum has mocked, i hope not, the topic has quieted, as it should, really.
i don’t recall a time to compare, aside from JFK’s assassination, then, later, Nixon-Watergate, resignation.
i was very young and not involved in politics, but the gravity of both situations was felt by all.

there is tremendous “ugly” in the airwaves, as many scramble to justify their words and actions leading to this.
they were lost before, they’re lost still.

biden appears to be choosing defiance against all, including many closest to him.
i would not have expected this. or wished for it.

of course, defiant denial happens in many families, causing deep pain.
pain cannot be escaped. it’s a matter of dignified acceptance or making it as hard as possible, all around.

as scriptures describe, mortality is hardest for the wealthy+powerful. Matthew 6:20
biden may live years+years more. with increasing impairments.

when we went through similar with my husband, i was shocked to experience the opposite path of raising children.
with babies/children, everyday is a new world, new skills learned, new abilities gained.
with (dementia?) .. everyday represents loss, no matter how small, or even with temporary plateaus .. the trend is down.
we had many plateaus. no matter how positive/long lasting, the next step was increased loss. it’s hard.

life is an arc. for those allowed the gift of time.
.. prayers for the U.S. and world ..

THOMAS MATTHEW CROOKS
20 years young, now a failed former president assassin, successful suicide-by-cop fatality?

young men are often vulnerable to making bad, rash, thoughtless decisions, often fatal to themselves and others.
without knowing more, i think of the hundreds shot, many killed, over July 4, 2024 in Chicago.
really bad decisions.

TMC, at 20, is another tragedy. i’m gonna presume, a confused mess. there are so many.
regardless of his (cough) “politics,” right or antifa - - - he was WRONG. he won’t have an opportunity to learn better.

i don’t know the name or details of the bystander killed yesterday.
prayers for him/her and loved ones.

prayers for Matthew and everyone harmed by his reckless actions yesterday.

prayers for young men to survive their youth, without harming others along their way.
Chicago and elsewhere.

My wife's cousin operated an orphanage in Haiti. Their social media posts are far and few between. We got this message this morning. Prayers would be appreciated.

UPDATED SERIOUS SITUATION:

I found out some important information from a big security meeting today. Someone came by our office and shared with us after the meeting. The 400 Mawozo has been in control of the police station which they burnt during their attack on Sunday at 2 AM. The 400 Mawozo is in control of Ganthier. The military (about 12 members) did go yesterday to Ganthier to fight the 400 Mawozo. They did not take the police station back. They did hide in the area watching all their movement.

The head of the 400 Mawozo “Lamo Sanjou,” which means “Death Without Days,” stood by the burnt-out police station yesterday saying he took over Ganthier and now he will take Fond Parisien, and blood will run down the streets. Something big will happen tonight, but I can not say what it is. Everyone pray… I can’t go into it, but there is a lot of corruption behind the scenes.

We are in extreme danger. We are facing life and death. Within two days, we may be attacked here at Love A Child.

Please, anyone reading this, we need more police, military, Kenyans, and armored vehicles here to help the military fight. No Kenyans have come to help us. No help has come! Unbelievable, yet I know why. I can’t tell you right now.

This is an emergency! We need your urgent prayers… ASAP!

Yet I believe the Lord will watch over us and protect everyone here.
