I’ll go with the first option.

Haven’t seen it. Let me know when you find some and can back it up with Scripture.
Read the Christian ethereal library. They'll show you the Orthodox bishops voting in the books to canonize your Bible you hold (Well there were 4 more books, but Martin Luther single handed stripped 4 of them from the original canon). This is history. Like it or leave it, but it doesn't change the facts.

Here's the link

Enjoy.

All you are asking for is to fight with your modern interpretation, not a historical and in depth understanding of 1 Cornithians 11.

Some of us are actually fairly well read and we still disagree with your conclusions as to what the historical record says. You’d have to go back to the Vulgate to find out when this whole controversy really started becoming a controversy. Prior to that there were several lists that didn’t agree with each other.
Either way, when history disagrees with scripture, I know what side is true.

The whole thing, or is there a specific document you have in mind?

The EO faith is deep. They read the Bible all the time. They are VERY aware of 1 Corinthians 11.
You know, I think what you said here may very well be correct. Jesus condemned the people in his day who had such maturity and advanced understanding that they had convinced themselves it was OK to follow their tradition in defiance of the law. I have no doubt that he would do the same today with those who approve of war and such like in defiance of Jesus' teachings.

Indeed. And most sit in churches in the nurseries continuing to drink spiritual milk.

Someone who believes the Orthodox have the answers probably isn’t going to see meat served in a Mennonite church.
