Amen to the USA ending the arms sales to the Zionists. Otherwise it will never, ever end.

Here is how much land in the Middle East that the Zionists believe they deserve because "God gave it to them":
Deuteronomy 11:(24) Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
Get your map out and see what this supposed "promise" to the Zionists includes. Half of Iraq, all of Jordan, all of Syria, part of Saudi Arabia.

A never ending war.

It will never, ever end until Zionism is discredited in the eyes of all of the Jews and Christians that support it.

i think it’s reasonable to consider, because Christians have not spread The Gospel well enough, convincingly enough, Hamas attacked Israel, and Israel did not turn the other cheek.

Your consideration of placing the blame for this war on Christians who have not spread the Gospel is sobering to me.

If you truly believe this cause-effect link is true, then specifically, what are you recommending "we" should do to correct this?

(By we, I mean peace-loving followers of Jesus.)

For me, I plan to pray today - specifically asking God to stop this war, and to open doors for food and water, and to open hearts to receive the message of salvation through Jesus to every one (on all sides) who are caught in this killing/starving situation.
I also want to engage more directly in helping, as He gives direction.
you’ve described my thoughts.
i was trying to perceive God’s view, which is not the natural, rational, logical, human view.

according to scriptures, prayer is our FIRST and best response. (not meant to be last resort.)

Christians are to pray, and spread the Gospel throughout the world. Hamas and Israel reflect the work is not complete.

It is sobering. And not logical, for Christians to ask themselves, “what is God’s will?” and submit to it.

Christians pray and act, the Holy Spirit determines outcomes.
Thanks for your help.

The October 7th Hamas attack was set up by Israel to attack itself, to provide a pretense for the destruction of Gaza.
I absolutely disagree with these statements.

Zionism is just the belief that Israel has a right to exist. I see no proof that the mainstream of Israelis want6 to reclaim what is in Deuteronomy.

I think Israel has a right to exist. I do not exult them over the rights of other Middle East states to exist, but also no less than others.

I would say Israel has a right to exist, but so do the Palestinian people who have been there for centuries.

Both sides should respect that about each other and tolerate free, independent states.

Both sides should both be able to vote.

"Ballots, not Bullets".

If the people of Gaza are to be incorporated into the State of Israel, and at the same time given the right to vote, then there would be no subjugation of the people of Gaza by the State of Israel. They would vote against their land being stolen by the Zionists.

Being Anti-Zionist is not being Anti-Semitic. Many Jews are against Zionism.

United Nations Resolution 3379:

"Determines that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Na ... ution_3379 (November 10, 1975)

UN Resolution 2279 was overturned in 1991 by Zionist pressure, but the whole world knows that Zionism is racism.

The State of Israel is an Apartheid nation that has made the original native population of Palestine into non-citizens. Let the Palestinian people vote. That is the only hope for peace in the Middle East.

I am surprised you would use the UN to define Zionism. I would not.

I disagree. There is already some Palestinians and Muslims in the Knesset.

So if we follow this logic and say: "Israel cannot be racist because there are Muslims in the Knesset" then according to this logic it would mean that Nazi Germany was not anti-Semitic because Jews worked for the Nazis. Source: https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/arts ... zi-germany

I'm going to point back to the February 2022 report I linked to earlier by Amnesty International accusing Israel of apartheid.
Szdfan wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 6:18 am In February 2022, an Amnesty International report accused Israel of creating a system of apartheid and oppression against the Palestinians, especially in Gaza.

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/ ... -humanity/
Amnesty International documented acts proscribed in the Apartheid Convention and Rome Statute in all the areas Israel controls, although they occur more frequently and violently in the OPT than in Israel. Israeli authorities enact multiple measures to deliberately deny Palestinians their basic rights and freedoms, including draconian movement restrictions in the OPT, chronic discriminatory underinvestment in Palestinian communities in Israel, and the denial of refugees’ right to return. The report also documents forcible transfer, administrative detention, torture, and unlawful killings, in both Israel and the OPT.

Amnesty International found that these acts form part of a systematic and widespread attack directed against the Palestinian population, and are committed with the intent to maintain the system of oppression and domination. They therefore constitute the crime against humanity of apartheid.

The unlawful killing of Palestinian protesters is perhaps the clearest illustration of how Israeli authorities use proscribed acts to maintain the status quo. In 2018, Palestinians in Gaza began to hold weekly protests along the border with Israel, calling for the right of return for refugees and an end to the blockade. Before protests even began, senior Israeli officials warned that Palestinians approaching the wall would be shot. By the end of 2019, Israeli forces had killed 214 civilians, including 46 children.
