Illegal alien arrivals now greater than American births?

Do you feel the same way about the people who came to America in the 17-19th centuries, whose immigration numbers exceeded the number of births of those who were born and raised here (the first nation's people)? The first nations folks talked the same way about many your ancestors moving here. Was it fine for them to feel that way about your ancestors?
I don't think that was a positive thing at all to "settle" lands by pushing the people already on them out.

Wars often happened too which is a different topic. But the most peaceful peoples were usually the ones that got pushed around, moved out of their homes they had been in for a long time, or worse, slaughtered.
And how is it a "replacement" instead of simply adding more people. Are the people who were born and raised here being systematically killed by asylum seekers? Are they forcing the people born and raised here to leave the country?
I have explained in numerous posts how it has become difficult for many people in America to even form families because they can barely afford their rent, let alone try to afford something like a house. Flooding the country with more unskilled workers servers to hurt wages, and also drives up the cost of housing. And the new migrants consume a great deal of resources - this isn't the migrants' fault, but it is the fault of a country that decides to expend a lot of resources facilitating entry of new migrants, but doesn't take care of existing native-born and existing migrants, both "illegal" and "legal", who are already here.

Generally speaking, plain people don't experience the same pressures with low wages and unaffordable rents and unaffordable home prices that most people in America do, but most people in America live in houses, and don't have more than $1,000 in emergency savings, and live paycheck to paycheck. This problem is getting worse, not better. America already has over 330 million people. It's the 3rd most populous country in the world. It doesn't make sense to keep flooding the country with more and more people right now.

My ancestors came over on the mayflower and lived in Tipis.
So I don’t know if I legally immigrated it or not.
If they’re Christian, I think they are better off not coming.

When my ancestors immigrated to the United States, there was neither immigration law nor a United States.
When was that?
I believe in the 1730s or 40s.

How'd they manage to find a colony that didn't have immigration laws by then? Or maybe didn't come to the Colonies but to Florida or New Orleans?

I wonder if the peoples already here had an idea of "migration laws". They very well may have.

The first US immigration law wasn’t until 1790. It’s my understanding that immigration was handled locally — there was no centralized policy that affected all the colonies — the big issue was naturalization of foreign aliens in the English colony for them to become English subjects.

Are you suggesting that local laws are not laws? By around 1700 all the colonies except New Hampshire had local laws regarding immigration and naturalization.

No. Just that there wasn’t a centralized law that applied to all of the colonies. The first national law wasn’t until 1790.

Josh sounds exactly like Ben Franklin in 1755 complaining about the "Great Replacement of English speakers by "boorish swarthy" Palatinate Germans "swarming" into Pennsylvania and from whom many of us are descended: https://reimaginingmigration.org/benjam ... l-america/
And since Detachments of English from Britain sent to America, will have their Places at Home so soon supply’d and increase so largely here; why should the Palatine Boors [Germans] be suffered to swarm into our Settlements, and by herding together establish their Language and Manners to the Exclusion of ours? Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Language or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion.

Which leads me to add one Remark: That the Number of purely white People in the World is proportionally very small. All Africa is black or tawny. Asia chiefly tawny. America (exclusive of the new Comers) wholly so. And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English, make the principal Body of White People on the Face of the Earth. I could wish their Numbers were increased. And while we are, as I may call it, Scouring our Planet, by clearing America of Woods, and so making this Side of our Globe reflect a brighter Light to the Eyes of Inhabitants in mars or Venus, why should we in the Sight of Superior Beings, darken its People? why increase the Sons of Africa, by Planting them in America, where we have so fair an Opportunity, by excluding all Blacks and Tawneys, of increasing the lovely White and Red? But perhaps I am partial to the complexion of my Country, for such Kind of Partiality is natural to Mankind.
and....
Those who come hither are generally of the most ignorant Stupid Sort of their own Nation, and as Ignorance is often attended with Credulity when Knavery would mislead it, and with Suspicion when Honesty would set it right; and as few of the English understand the German Language, and so cannot address them either from the Press or Pulpit, ’tis almost impossible to remove any prejudices they once entertain. Their own Clergy have very little influence over the people; who seem to take an uncommon pleasure in abusing and discharging the Minister on every trivial occasion. Not being used to Liberty, they know not how to make a modest use of it; and as Kolben says of the young Hottentots, that they are not esteemed men till they have shewn their manhood by beating their mothers, so these seem to think themselves not free, till they can feel their liberty in abusing and insulting their Teachers. Thus they are under no restraint of Ecclesiastical Government; They behave, however, submissively enough at present to the Civil Government which I wish they may continue to do: For I remember when they modestly declined intermeddling in our Elections, but now they come in droves, and carry all before them, except in one or two Counties; Few of their children in the Country learn English; they import many Books from Germany; and of the six printing houses in the Province, two are entirely German, two half German half English, and but two entirely English; They have one German News-paper, and one half German. Advertisements intended to be general are now printed in Dutch and English; the Signs in our Streets have inscriptions in both languages, and in some places only German: They begin of late to make all their Bonds and other legal Writings in their own Language, which (though I think it ought not to be) are allowed good in our Courts, where the German Business so encreases that there is continual need of Interpreters; and I suppose in a few years they will be also necessary in the Assembly, to tell one half of our Legislators what the other half say; In short unless the stream of their importation could be turned from this to other colonies, as you very judiciously propose, they will soon so out number us, that all the advantages we have will not in My Opinion be able to preserve our language, and even our Government will become precarious.
Sound familiar?

Mr Franklin seems focused on language and ethnic racial background, which was not the gist of what I posted at all, despite numerous attempts by other posters to take the conversation there.

I see you are no exception. America is already a very diverse country with different languages, races, and many different ethnic groups. The people who are already here (the American births) represent a diverse group. The illegal aliens also represent diverse groups. There is nothing to "see" or discuss there.
