Re: Outcomes of Overturning Roe Vs. Wade
In the Old Testament most of the kings of the northern Kingdom of Israel and the southern Kingdom of Judah were evil kings. The people of Israel or the leaders of Israel selected those kings. God allowed their choices of kings to rule and He granted those men the authority to rule as kings. But they were evil and in the end God punished the nations, who selected evil kings. Just my belief and you are allowed to respectfully disagree. But just as in Old Testament times, I believe God still allows evil leaders to be leaders of nations, because the people choose them. I believe God is allowing an evil man to lead this nation because the majority of the people either chose him or (maybe cheated).
I suppose that would be a whole other topic.

The other day he claimed he taught at the University of Pennsylvania for four years. He did no such thing. Although that lie isn't at the same level as killing unborn babies up until time of birth and cutting off children's body parts as being "healthcare", it still was a lie.
i scrolled the whole way to the top of the page and can't figure out who is being talked about
can someone enlighten me, please?
thanks

So now the president is saying that an agenda of preserving the lives of the unborn, is "dangerous and extreme".The extreme and dangerous MAGA Republican agenda is out-of-step with the vast majority of Americans. We will continue to protect access to reproductive health care and call on Congress to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade in federal law once and for all.
The evilness and death promotion coming from the president is beyond the pale. He is labeling the pro- life beliefs of millions of hard working, law abiding, peaceful, American people as " extreme" and “dangerous”. Most American people simply work hard, raise families, love God, pay their taxes, and try to eek out a living for themselves and their families. Yet because they don’t support abortion they, and their agenda is "extreme and dangerous".![]()

And it would make very little difference. Most people get abortions for convenience’s sake.NedFlanders wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 1:48 am It would be amazing if everyone knew that a pregnant woman would always be graciously cared for by any Christian. That we would sacrifice without second thought to help. That they could always find love and support. That they were so encouraged by our lives that abortion would be put far from their minds because of such love. We don’t need the kingdoms of darkness to help in anyway, we need the kingdom of God springing forth because of lives sold out for Christs call of loving God and neighbour.

Although that may be true, I think it is important we do our part that God calls us to and then leave the rest up to Him.Josh wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 8:33 amAnd it would make very little difference. Re: Outcomes of Overturning Roe Vs. Wade
Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, large amounts of people have relocated from New York and California to Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. Apparently, these laws make no difference at all on where people want to live.
States like Ohio had trigger laws. These were immediately overriden by the courts in states like Ohio, which I considered a travesty of justice. So abortions kept happening.

According to this recent podcast from the New York Times, while the amount of abortions in states that banned it have decreased (measured by the increase of births), the amount of total abortions in the country have increased.
