Yes, more immigration (legal and illegal) hurts wages.
America is full. There are plenty of other places for aspiring migrants to go.

Re: January 6 Coup Attempt
You disagree with Josh (and others) then seamlessly proceed to prove their points.
Year after year ..
This forum can be like reading a byproduct of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” mixed with Kurt Vonnegut.

Re: Baptism in the Catholic Church
Ken, and perhaps others. I really am trying to create a “I am right..you are wrong” situation here.
My original point is it is true there are a number of Anglican and Episcopalian ministers who have converted, are Catholic priests and are married, you wrote in a way that could be interpreted by readers that this is the list of married priests in the RCC.
That is not true. There are other married priests, including other Protestant convert ministers, Orthodox married priests that converted and some other oddities.
The entire POINT AOF THAT DISCUSSION was to help folks understand the difference between doctrinal positions of the RCC which no one including the Pope can change and disciplinary rules and practices that CAN in theory change if the church wishes to.
Belief in original sin, not ord aiming women, etc. are not possible to change. Celibacy is.
That’s all.

That's not helpful, nor is it within the forum guidelines, if it's what you intended to say.

At the same time, it does sort of have a fresh, blunt, clarity to it.ohio jones wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 1:50 pmThat's not helpful, nor is it within the forum guidelines, if it's what you intended to say.
