Please read the entirety of his topic before responding. Please refrain from posting if you are not Anabaptist.

1: Do you agree with what he wrote? if not why?

2: do you hear this taught and preached in Anabaptist churches today or something else?
I would challenge that this is not what the heading on this forum says -
MennoNet.com
Where Mennonites and others connect
How will 'others connect' if they are requested to 'refrain from posting if you are not Anabaptist' ?

Sudsy, how about a little basic respect?
If you are going to insist on violating the request, can you please at least read it and respond rather then making this your platform to complain?

I'm not the one disrespecting everyone's freedom to participate. I plan on reading it and I have scanned it quickly in all of the pages in it. I think it will be a good read. Perhaps I am an Anabaptist. That would depend on your definition of what is necessary to call oneself Anabaptist.

As long as people here are going to try to isolate input from everyone and do not leave this up to the moderators, then I will resist opening any doors to someone taking controls into their own hands. If the forum leaders approve of such means, I will co-operate as required.

Fine then I would request that the moderators move Sudsy’s posts somewhere else.

The ability of an OP to request focused participation on individual threads is a long-standing practice that is not currently being overused. If it is, we may restrict it. You've made your point in other threads that you do not agree. Please don't bring it up every time.

I mean…Is this true repenting? Can these posts now be returned to the repentance thread since they are back on topic?

Notwithstanding repentance, consequences remain.

I would venture to guess that over 99.9% of the residents of your home community are either (1) immigrants, or (2) the descendants of immigrants.

Yourself included.
The topic at hand are illegal aliens or people claiming asylum, particularly such people from Central America. Please stay on topic.
You claimed that "immigrant heavy" areas have higher crime. You did not limit your claims to illegal aliens or people claiming asylum. Shall we rewind the tape? These were your exact words that I was responding to.
Having lived most of my adult life in immigrant-heavy places and living now in a place that has virtually none, there is a rather striking difference indeed. I don't need to lock my doors or worry about my car being stolen, or getting hit by someone without insurance, which was a grave and present concern when I lived in California. Like it or not, large waves of illegal and legal immigration decrease social capital and decrease social bonds, increase population churn, and ultimately lead to a lot more non-acquaintance crime. And this ultimately leads to much lower quality of life for everyone involved. The real question is why some people seem to feel such a strong need to try to promote mass immigration at every turn.
The mass immigration you are complaining about is exactly what populated Ohio including your own home town.

Don't worry you are in good company. In fact, your exact positions were well represented by the 'Know Nothing" party which was strong in Ohio during the 1850s

Here is a Know Nothing campaign poster from that time. Look familiar?
