Biden should be using Commander as a bargaining aid.
Bring Congressional leadership into a White House conference room to finalize some bipartisan compromise on the budget.
Then announce "you all have 15 more minutes to reach a deal here, and then we bring in Commander to get the job done"
I'd pay to see Commander chasing around Kevin McCarthy and Nancy Pelosi.

I don't think that the Nancy Pelosi chase would last long enough for you to get your moneys worth.Ken wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 2:29 pm Biden should be using Commander as a bargaining aid.

Boot- I hadn’t even read the link/article in the OP until now.
Everything I’ve written in this thread up until now has nothing to do with politics or Commander, but rather dogs in general, and the OT.

I should be clear - shooting the dog is what he meant by “putting it down”.RZehr wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 2:15 pm I find it interesting, (may or may not apply to Boot, but he prompted this) that people are willing to “put down” a dog, but aren’t willing to shoot it.
I know that almost all people in this country are carefully shielded from bloodshed and death. But for some of us who are farmers and hunters, it seems completely illogical to spend time and money to take a dog to a vet to be “put down”, when we have the tools and ability ourselves to kill it. We kill fish, deer, ducks, cows, pigs and chickens. A bullet to the brain is more merciful than a vet visit. And no, a dog is not a member of the family, and even though it is a pet, it is indeed an animal. Not a person. I don’t like how society value dogs as better than humans.

I expect Pelosi would probably be able to put the dog down with her stiletto heel. McCarthy is probably the easier target if you are looking for something to bite.RZehr wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 3:04 pmI don't think that the Nancy Pelosi chase would last long enough for you to get your moneys worth.Ken wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 2:29 pm Biden should be using Commander as a bargaining aid.

'Commander' (in chief?) sent away after another biting incident. (Perhaps joining The 'Major'?)

Second dog with a biting problem. You have to wonder why these dogs are such a problem. Is it their breed? We never heard that the Obama's dogs, Bo and Sunny bit people.

Excellent question. I can say I do not think it is their breed because our German Shepherds were well behaved; but then we trained them to behave.
