Finished the rest of the kitchen. Tiny bit of trim still to be painted.

Robert,

The finished room is beautiful, but the message on the mantel is priceless.

"With God, All Things are Possible."

So encouraging!

Thanks.

Today was the first day of my third year of teaching. I feel like it's just now that I'm figuring out which questions to ask and what I need to do to grow into this work.

Students back or you just setting up? Seems a little early. We just finished our last week of camp here. Now the calm fall and winter getting ready for the next year. You get them the rest of the year, we get them all summer.

I hope the year goes well for you. Teaching is not easy these days.

They say that things start to get better the third year. Teaching is the hardest thing I've ever done and while I don't think I'm good at it yet, there's progress.

Teaching has been a transformative experience for me and transformation has been hard, but it's good.

Wife: if all else fails, you can always just make a giant hot air balloon and sail off somewhere where none of your students or school board can find you. Just make sure it doesn’t look like a Chinese spy balloon and to keep clear of mysterious islands...
