i must share with my PNW family.
The slightest breeze, down come trees. Some big ones!
My sense is, their municipal tree cleanup is comparable with snow removal services in the upper midwest.

Coincidentally, several days ago, it was lightly raining, no wind or lightning, i heard a crack, looked up to see half of a good sized ornamental tree fall, slo-mo, to the ground. Away from the house, no harm done. Except confusing hummingbirds. They’re still looking for their nests. i’ll miss that tree. It provided lots of bird entertainment throughout the year.

My neighbor has already cut it up and removed it.

This really happened which strikes me as truly funny. So much for artificial intelligence

Driverless Cars Cause Traffic Jam in San Francisco in Malfunction
A group of about ten self-driving taxis became stuck in the San Francisco neighborhood of North Beach on Friday evening, causing a traffic jam just one day after regulators voted to allow driverless taxi companies virtual free rein in the city.

LOL, did you hear about the lady who vehemently scolded her parents for voting for Biden. She went on a tirade for about a half hour, raising her voice and yelling at them. However she was kind enough to put flowers on their graves.

Not funny, but sad. Quite political, as it is repeating a lie that has been debunked numerous times and which leads to division, hate, and violence.
