Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

Did I get that correct?
I have no idea what they are doing since I don't live in Seattle and you didn't post any links to any legitimate news sites. But I'm quite confident that no school is referring sex change surgery for 11 year olds as you just asserted. Most of this articles I see along these lines turn out to be unsubstantiated fearmongering of little actual substance.

I also don't think it is any of our business how any particular child and his/her parents struggle with and deal with anything to do with sexuality and gender. Not my business, not your business, and nobody's business but theirs.

I also think that it is little more than bigotry, hypocrisy, and hatemongering for the right to obsess about this particular issue compared to all the ACTUAL threats to health, life, and safety that our children face every day in this country. We used to believe in things like freedom and privacy in this country. I guess those days are over now.

America has not historically ever stood for freedom for 11 year olds to get sex change drugs at school.

America has traditionally stood for parents along with their children to decide what is best for them medically speaking. Without the interference of the state or other busy-bodies. There is a very high bar for the state to clear in order to intervene and this issue does not come close to clearing it.

America has traditionally stood for that getting a sec change is not “medical care”.

And this is about schools running gender clinics, which is about as serious of “intervening” as it gets.

When it comes to the Public Treasury, taxpayer and legal voting citizens have a vested interest.
What happens in gov schools equates to funding via the Public Treasury.

There is a lengthy+important history of lots of laws to protect+defend minors, which come along with restrictions, at least until reaching majority age. Restricting minors, whether for work, signing contracts, access to publications in libraries designed for them, smoking, drinking, sexual activity, entrance to places that serve alcohol, having age-adjusted rulings in courts of laws, are all examples of privileges and restrictions that go along with laws and rules for MINORS.

Being a minor+dependent comes with protections+privileges AND RESTRICTIONS. No need to apologize.

No one gets everything. WAITING is not a dirty word.
Self-control is an important aspect of human development. It can be painful in the moment, typically rewards come in time.

The U.S. Public Treasury should not be considered a huge petty cash drawer for lib fantasies. This has gone on far too long.
Taxpayers should have powerful input as to distribution of funds.

When the P.69 KOMO and DAILY MAIL articles say “NO COST” the truth is: AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE. $$$$
This, in addition to the mental+emotional+physical costs involved to everyone involved.
Providers = KA-CHING! YAY! $$$$ gov-guaranteed profits.

FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Hormonal therapy for cross gender treatment is about as dangerous if not more so then smoking. There are a number of research articles showing increased risk of quite a few serious health problems. Also, general satisfaction with surgical intervention is quite poor when hormonal/(puberty blocker) therapy is initiated before puberty. Not that I’m advocating that, but lying to these children about the full consequences which they hardly can understand yet isn’t good medicine.
More studies should focus on why transgenderism is booming especially in young women. This is a warning sign of serious social issues which I speculate is almost entirely from lack of social interaction which was replaced by internet interaction which fails to fulfill a need we don’t fully understand.

Add to this, in recent pages in this topic, various former European leaders in these procedures are reversing these decisions,
they’ve had so many negative results!

WAITING is not a dirty word.

America has traditionally stood for parents along with their children to decide what is best for them medically speaking. Without the interference of the state or other busy-bodies.
The foundational principles of Western medical ethics, as characterized by the Hippocratic Oath, have been weakened or even rejected over recent decades challenging the traditionally accepted purposes of medical practice: saving lives, healing disease, and alleviating pain.
Whereas doctors once considered it their sacred duty to protect and save the lives of their patients, relieve pain, and promote good health practices, today some actively take—or intentionally assist in the taking of—human life. Today, doctors perform abortions, some through the ninth month. Others openly prescribe drugs for use in suicide. In European nations such as the Netherlands and Belgium, physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia are practiced, and physicians legally practice infanticide when babies are born with serious disabilities or terminal conditions. Meanwhile, bioethicists and others advocate transforming medicine from a healing profession into a technocracy, a primary purpose of which is to facilitate individual lifestyle choices.

Not sure if that last sentence was intended to characterize sex change operations or not, however, that these practices do seem to "transform the healing profession into a technocracy" to achieve purposes that were once considered beyond the medical profession does seem to be a valid point.
