Welcome to MennoNet.com, the descendant of MennoDiscuss.com. If you are not familiar with MennoDiscuss.com, that is alright. You are still just as welcome.
We have a two step registration process to help filter out automatic processes and spammers, this being the second step. We ask each new member to reply with a post here so we can verify their intent.
Please post one or two sentences about you or what you are looking for. Only post once and wait for us to approve. It can take up to a day. Please be patient. Posting twice messes up the registration process and it has to be dealt with manually instead of the easy automatic process we have.
We will approve you and you will have access to the rest of the forum. Once approved, this section will become read only access to you.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Peace.
2016 / Mrs.Nisley registers:
Post by Mrs.Nisly » Sun Oct 23, 2016 11:33 pm
Hello,
I go by a new name these days. I am Mrs.Nisly. In extreme circumstances I am willing to be referred to as MN.
Two things I have learned over the past nearly 10 years is that long names like anabaptistengima are tedious and that gender matters.
My life circumstances have also changed considerably. Ten years ago I was a mother of a couple of youngsters with the addition and loss of a couple more. Now I am comfortably middle aged, my burning questions of identity and direction have mostly found rest.
I am embarking on a new era of influence and vision for the next generation of my community by teaching elementary education, as well as digging into the historical roots of this community, in order to help build up a strong community of faithfulness.

I am Mrs.Nisly formerly known as anabaptistenigma. I am a conservative Mennonite from Kansas. The church I attend is affiliated with the Biblical Mennonite Alliance.
I am married and am the mother of three children here on earth.
I am a part time teacher at the local Mennonite sponsored Christian School. I teach Science/History, Art, Writing, and Grammar to a 3-4 grade class of 17 students.
I enjoy reading and learning. I spend way too much time researching a particular topic that has captured my interest.
I also like antiques, china and glassware, interior design, chickens, camping with my family, and occasionally cooking.
