(i believe) what you’re aiming at is what i think of as SPIRITUAL POVERTY.
At about the 28min mark, Ben Shapiro describes this, referencing some who saw it coming decades ago.
They didn’t use the words, spiritual poverty. It is about overall devaluation of human life.

BEN SHAPIRO / Trans Mass Shooter Murders Children At Christian School / 48min total

Description:
A mass shooter who identifies as a trans man murders three children and three adults at a Christian school;
the media struggle to ignore the facts of the story and focus instead on gun control;

(approx.28min mark) and a new Wall Street Journal survey shows that American values are in serious peril.

The Trans Resistance Network (TRN), a far-left transgender "collective," released an inflammatory statement on Monday in the wake of the Covenant School shooting by transgender woman Audrey Hale in Nashville that killed three 9-year-olds and three adults.

Calling the mass murder a dual "tragedy," the group wrote the first was the deaths of the children and adults in the school and extended their "deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to those families dealing with the loss of loved ones."

"There is nothing we can offer that will comfort the hurt, or ease the sorrow," TRN wrote. "We mourn with you."

"The second and more complex tragedy is that Aiden or Audrey Hale, who felt [she] had no other effective way to be seen than to lash out by taking the life of others, and by consequence, [herself]," they continued.

TRN wrote they "do not claim to know the individual or have access to their inner thoughts and feelings" but they "do know that life for transgender people is very difficult, and made more difficult in the preceding months by a virtual avalanche of anti-trans legislation, and public callouts by Right Wing personalities and political figures for nothing less than the genocidal eradication of trans people from society."

"Many transgender people deal with anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide, and PTSD from the near-constant drum beat of anti-trans hate, lack of acceptance from family members and certain religious institutions, denial of our existence, and calls for de-transition and forced conversion," TRN claimed.

"All of these factors contribute to a population that is medically under-served and who often faces anti-trans bias while accessing care leading to significant physical and mental health disparities," they continued.

"Hate has consequences," the radical trans "collective" added.

Yep. They are blaming the victims.

When the 2016 Pulse shooting in Florida happened, all sorts of flags were flown and government buildings lit up with rainbow lights.

What can we expect to see this time? Probably the opposite. Shows the perverted values this nation has.

Germany has safer roads then America yet has many roads with no speed limits.

During the years 2000-2004, the AWB was still in place. Ken, perhaps you need to look at something other than legal access to guns when you want to find out why there is so much violence. As I pointed out earlier, before 1986, an 18 year old could go and easily buy a fully automatic machine gun, yet not a single such person did and then go engage in a Maas shooting.

Columbine happened in 1999, during the AWB and before YWK. Gun laws were stricter. Those people used easily accessible firearms.

If guns are made illegal people like this Audrey person would simply use something like Molotov cocktails. Guns are very restricted in Brazil yet there are large numbers of shootings and murders - often with homemade zip guns.

Germany has very strict speed limits on more than 99% of its streets and roads. The only exception is certain sections of the autobahn. And even that may be changing. In fact their speed limits and traffic enforcement are far more severe than in the US. For excessive speeding the tickets can range into the hundreds of dollars and carry automatic license suspensions after the first ticket. And Germany enforces its speed limits with one of the most dense traffic camera networks in the world.

Germany also has safer children than the US. I wonder why that is, if, as you claim, it is simply impossible to regulate firearms. How is it that German children are 56-times less likely to be killed by firearms than American children?

It is curious how you are more protective of the gun industry and firearms than American children. That is an odd position for an Anabaptist to take.

I really doubt that Molotov cocktails would be used as a replacement for school shootings. School shootings tend to be a very specific type of violence with specific end goals, namely death for the perpetrator. Cops aren’t going to kill the person who threw a Molotov cocktail. The ability of the perpetrator to have a gun that can shoot a high number of rounds without having to reload is going to be the most likely way for them to be killed while doing this ridiculous evil thing.

Don't know if this has been posted here. Just thought I would pass it on. The first paragraph is what I am focusing on, not the second.

Bomb threats are not uncommon.
i first experienced drills and actual threat evacuations, as a student in the 60’s, as a university employee in early 70’s, decades later, schools continue to receive threats. Not in the U.S. alone.

”School Bomb Threats and School Security”
School bomb threats disrupt schools and create significant anxiety in a school-community, especially if they are reoccurring over a shorter period of time.

School administrators, safety officials, crisis teams and staff should be trained and schools should have guidelines for handling bomb threats and suspicious devices on campus.

See our 2015 national study of more than 800 violent school bomb threat and shooting threats.
https://www.schoolsecurity.org/trends/s ... and-bombs/
Historical and Recent School Bomb Threat Incidents
A number of high-profile incidents involving bombs and bomb threats took place prior to the 1999 Columbine High School attack showed a trend we identified and trained schools to prepare for at that time:

A January, 1999, explosion in a high school locker in Kansas City sent 11 students to the hospital.

An irate parent took the deputy superintendent and an associate superintendent of a California education office hostage in late November of 1998. The standoff resulted in police killing the parent, who had a gun and seven bomb devices as a part of his siege.

Ten bombs, fireworks strapped to aerosol cans, forced the closure of a California elementary school.

One Maryland school district experienced more than 150 bomb threats and 55 associated arrests in one school year.

Up to a pound of ammonium nitrate was brought to school by a Nevada middle-school student.

Eight boys confessed to making three homemade bombs, two of which were placed at a Minnesota elementary school.

The attack at Columbine High School triggered bomb threats and attention to the need for school and police officials to assess threats versus automatically evacuating as a best practice.

Post-Columbine
Immediately following Columbine, schools across the nation experienced a spike in bomb threats and related incidents.

While the spike in these type of incidents leveled off in the months and years following Columbine, there are still a number of incidents each school year involving bomb threats, suspicious devices, plans to use bombs in school violence plots, and the actual use of explosives. School buses have also been the target of terrorist bombings in the Middle East, so it would be wise for school officials to include school bus and transportation facilities in their bomb threat and suspicious device planning and training. .. ..

Let’s face it.
