.. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse ...

another small garage fatality last night.

Today .. makes 3.

About a month ago, a strange little creature, i’m guessing a mole, about half the size of these little mice.

All dead before i noticed them. It must not take long.
Strange how i’ve not had this happen before this year. Plus, i don’t think i caught the first one, it seemed bigger than these.
Not huge, but bigger. And, in the house! These have been in the garage. i keep looking for one in the house. Nothing.

Today .. treadmill stress test. i’m hoping for a nothing-burger.

It went ok. i may not hear until Tuesday.
altho the cardiologist called about 7pm. i just missed his call.
we’ll see.

Today I visited an inmate who is reflecting on his life of ungodliness and what part the Vietnam War played into it. He recalled the anguish of realizing that he enjoyed killing because of the atrocities of the other side.

It's unclear whether he has actually surrendered to the Lord as he says he has. His name is Anthony if you feel like praying for him.

He’s been calling everyday. Sometimes more than once. He’s still calling, altho i’m already improved.
i’m not used to all this attention.

i think he saved my life this week. i’m pretty sure.

without surgery, so far. i.e., more tests to come.
through family experiences, i know a little about how this works. “it’s not over ‘til it’s over.”

he’s so calm and soft-spoken. self-controlled. focused. i’m glad my mother taught me to LISTEN. esp to the quiet ones.

Today, I pack for a 4 day trip to CA. Daughter wants to go to Super Mario World and needs a ride buddy. She is covering most of the costs, so I just get to go have fun. I will be away for about 4 days, so be kind and behave yourselves. Other Mods are around to spank as needed.

I survived and had a good trip. Met some interesting people on the plane there and back.
