.. Milwaukee Public Schools is hosting events in honor of “Black Lives Matter at School” week including “BLM Family Night” where families can participate in “cultural experiences” at the Black Holocaust Museum, according to the school website. Shoreline Public Schools in Washington plans to celebrate the week in order to help students “understand inequities based on race” and to “affirm that the lives of people of color matter,” the school district website showed.

BLM at School raised more than $103,000 for its national week of action as of Friday, according to its website. Several teachers unions have backed the week-long event in the country’s schools including the National Education Association,Chicago Teachers Union and the Virginia Education Association.

“Giving the BLM brand legitimacy in public schools is handing ideologies, radicals and groomers a license to harm our next generation,” Wu told the DCNF. “Any education leader interested in building awareness on the history and struggles of the African American community should seek meaningful policy solutions rather than virtue-signaling.”

BLM at School, San Diego Unified School District, Howard County Schools, Milwaukee Public Schools and Shoreline Public Schools did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

This is key. How to prevent untested unproven unwanted ideologies from running like wildfire through public schools, promoted+protected by force of the sword, at taxpayer expense??! It needs to be ended. It will not self-correct.

Thankfully, parents and taxpayers are speaking up.

Not long ago .. threats of suicide were questioned as possibly self-centered and manipulative. Also, revenge, demanding the last word. (i was never sold on this as universally true) - however, today’s prevailing wisdom is that it’s never true. No.

No one is an expert on suicide. Human laws are not adequate to respond.

The benefit of questioning to some people is, helping them get a perspective on how their extreme thinking (suicide) could be wildly hurtful and harmful to their loved ones. Some people do not realize how important they are to others, how important their choices are to others.

Political ideologues threatening suicides of others to win fickle power arguments is egregious exploitation and WRONG.

No one should say to a troubled child (or adult) -
“you’re miserable, take these body-altering drugs -and- let’s cut up your body, that’ll make it all better.”

This is of the worst expenditures of taxpayer money. Taxpayers have every reason to end it.

The U.S. needs ‘way better gate keepers of both human laws and access to the public treasury.

I think it is good to teach that black lives matter and show what difficulties some groups have had. I do not think that teaching the affirmation of sexual perversion should be included.

I don’t think some law makers are aware that people with gender confusion should be pitied rather then labeled as perverts. The hateful speaking is on both sides and one side celebrates perverse choices while the other condemns it forgetting there is a human on the other end who is either a twisted person doomed to eternal destruction and seeking to drag others with them, or a poor lost and confused lamb looking for answers in the wrong places.

I don’t think some law makers are aware that people with gender confusion should be pitied rather then labeled as perverts. The hateful speaking is on both sides and one side celebrates perverse choices while the other condemns it forgetting there is a human on the other end who is either a twisted person doomed to eternal destruction and seeking to drag others with them, or a poor lost and confused lamb looking for answers in the wrong places.

I appreciate the nuance Soloist. The people involved are precious in God's eyes. The taking of sides only degrades this reality.

I read an article on this and thought there was some significant information missing. In my experience children are not given new pronouns or names unless the child brings up the issue and requests it. It really isn’t clear how or why the teacher supposedly ‘forced’ this unto the child. Me suspects the child requested it, but has been too afraid to tell the parents.
