We need to teach people how to be better witnesses.

I am getting tired of spinning off the off-topic chatter into new threads. One or two posts that have little to do with the subject is one thing, but when it goes on for several pages, y'all are showing no more self control than Mr. Bean himself.

You're fine. I'm amazed how that mostly-on-topic post became an off-ramp, but it was the only logical place to split the thread.

That is sad although it seems like the right thing to do under the circumstances. CAM book publisher TGS International still has them listed.

It took a while for TGS to pull Harold Herr's books.

I would note that places like Amazon still sell them. Perhaps the criticism that gets levelled at CAM, CLP, and others should also be directed at Amazon.

I don't really fault booksellers either way. As the publisher, CLP would be the most logical org with a potential ethical obligation to stop publishing the books. At some loss to them, obviously. The distributors downstream are probably more motivated by whether the books sell or not. After all they are sitting on inventory that they probably can't return for credit. I've seen TGS keep distributing books after an author went off the rails, although after awhile they were at fire sale prices. Maybe CLP will keep them in stock for catalog and wholesale sales.
