Dogs and vomit

Post by dontperish »

I just heard another story of a dog going back to their vomit (person going back to their sin or dead false religion)

Have you noticed how very true and detailed God's word is ... I mean detailed in how it lays out truth from showing the heavens to a tiny mustard seed .....?

Over the course of many years of ministry we have seen 99 percent of people go back to their old sins and to their false religion.

This verse just rings in me as when I had a dog for farm use... not a house pet ... they do this all the time.

Proverbs 26:11
As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

I give God all the glory that He, His Word and Spirit..me holding to it ... kept me from going back to my vile life vomit before Christ made..... all things new! 2 Cor 5:17

Ponder the depths of God's holy word and apply them richly to yourself vs just Sunday dead false religion .....

It will take you from your vomit keep you from your vomit.

How wonderful is His word!!!

Warning!!!! Gross content ahead!!!

I once had a patient who I needed to aspirate the stomach contents of for residual measurements. It was orange, mucus filled and generally gross.
Following this wonderful job, I took a half day to go out to eat with my wife at a local Pakistani restaurant. I will never eat Pakistani rice again.
That is all.

Our family has always enjoyed the older children's parables and stories such as the tortoise and the hare and the books by James Herriot and Beatrix Potter. The age of innocence is important to preserve.
