In the Name of “Mission Work” book about CAM/Mast

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

I’m simply asking the question. How much would GRACE charge for an investigation?

Why is this such a big secret?
Grace, you can’t just tell us what you’d charge?

In reference to an independent investigation, CAM isn't worried what they would find regarding the Mast situation. They're worried what else they would find besides that.

It might also just be a similar stance as to people seeking counseling outside the church. They might believe it’s none of Grace’s business. One could argue that a biblically trained person can investigate it themselves. It might also just be tied in with how liberal Grace is. It might be they are not prepared to do the changes Grace would recommend. I don’t know what Grace would recommend, let’s say Grace recommended that all their missionaries took a class on abuse. That doesn’t seem like a big deal, or Grace recommends all the missionaries have a four year bachelors degree. I don’t know anything about Grace other than a suspicion they are more liberal… there could be reasons Outside of wanting to cover up things.
