.. I think that there are two forms of communication going on here, there is a refusal by several members to actually answer questions and they instead try to
redirect it and again repeat claims that they refuse to provide support for which is a form of hostile communication by seeking to control the narrative. Then there is several members openly speaking their mind.
Both sides dislike the other persons form of communication and insist the other is at fault.
My point though is that if context is important then equally so is how one responds to promoted sin or defended sin.
This is the internet, if you get offended having your opinion challenged, just know that many of the sentiments either by conservatives or liberals would never be tolerated in the opposite church. Forums have a diverse group of communication and style
and I appreciate the freedom of diversity.
I’m not interested in arm chairing a discussion though with you as I don’t see it being very productive and you were responding to me calling someone to consider the language they used.
I’m happy with the moderators and what they do.
i sometimes wonder if there is such a thing as not being able to grasp a thought without first “redirecting” it through ones own filters then representing it as though there was no original starting place? Because, redirecting happens so frequently. It begs the question, “why?” Why not respond to the original question or thought? It might be a wiring problem.

He makes many good points, i won’t pretend to understand all, i don’t agree with all.
i appreciate his references to older cultures and how they deal with differences. The U.S. is still so young! Growing pains.
i believe he represents a secular and academic pov, tho not obviously saturated in present progressivism.

It appears this was recorded in 2008! -
Which might explain how he was able to get libs in the audience to laugh at themselves.
Note: The video features some classical art which includes some nudity.
