Just a bit of encouragement here here from someone actively involved in potential adoptions - It actually IS possible for a child to have two legal mothers in this country. Biologically, no, but lest you two keep talking past each other while the rest of us patiently endure, there can indeed be two legal mothers of a child in this country, by virtue of the laws that exist. If you honestly want to have a productive conversation rather than simply rebut most of what Ken has to say, it would be helpful going forward to avoid such a generality, and specify what context you are referring to. Just a thought.

I don't agree with some of the leftist malarky that slips in now and again, either, but I'm wondering if you could perhaps refer us to one or two of those aforementioned specific demands (by the leftists on MN) for enthusiastic affirmation of those sins...? Thanks in advance!

Reality is that nobody can have two mothers. A household arrangement can be created that has multiple caregivers, such as some Holdeman Mennonite women were 3 of them adopted and took care of a child. It would be rather silly, though, to claim all 3 are that person’s “mother”. A better analogy would be to someone like Mother Theresa or Amy Carmichael. They were not trying to be a nuclear family.

A proper adoption with a mother and father mirrors God’s design for a family, with the adoptive parents stepping in where the birth parents struggle and can’t take care of their own child. Two homosexuals “adopting” a child, on the other hand, is for immoral, ungodly purposes. God has not created two women to form a family and have children, and fake legal documents pretending it is so does not make it so.

A government might issue me a marriage certificate to a horse, but that would not make me and said four-hooves companion husband-and-equiwife. Marriages are between a man and a woman. Children have a father and a mother.

Szdfan has been quite vocal that anything less than full affirmation of sodomy equals violence and is un-Christlike behaviour.

2008:
.. LifeSiteNews: What does the birth certificate say?
Miller: That she has one parent and that is me. ..

.. LifeSiteNews: So, take it from there – what happened after that?
Miller: Well, Judge Crosser – in Virginia, he ruled as well in October but I believe that the final order was in November, though –
that he did not see where Vermont had any jurisdiction.

He called Janet a friend, not an ex-partner
and he said that I was the only mother and I could decide who I allowed my daughter to see.

So, that happened – so from October, 2004 to April, 2007 – she did not see Isabella at all. ..

JJ had the full legal support of the powerful+monied political bloc with focus on cementing new+untested human laws they passionately favored.
