Josh said, We saw during COVID that hospitals got big government payouts for each COVID patient who died. Needless to say hospitals made sure ICUs killed half the people who went into them to get on ventilators - resulting in a big check from Medicare.

Josh also said- My opinion is the “hospitals made sure”. But it’s a hard fact that hospitals got paid extra for each person who died.

The hospitals were death camps. Ventilators killed people.
I don't think you can truthfully say, that most hospitals made sure ICUs killed half the people.
Also, were hospitals death camps, did ventilators kill people ?
Yes many who had COVID died in the hospital and yes many on ventilators died. We were in the middle of a pandemic that doctors were figuring out what worked best in the midst of a very stressful time and hospitals were full with patients to the point of overflowing and opening extra beds in tents etc.

I know enough about the health care system to say- it is far from perfect and I have many issues with how Medicare and Medicaid and thus insurances pay for or don't pay for everything. But I would say it is more out of ignorance and people making those decisions usually don't have a clue - they are just making crazy decisions. But to say they made sure people died to get paid, or falsified diagnosis to get paid I take exception to this. There are doctors and hospitals who have defrauded medicare/medicaid etc and some have gotten away with it but many finally are caught. There was so much going on throughout the nation that those who were committing fraud may eventually get caught but to say all did this or most - I'm sorry I disagree. I know the hospitals in our area had doctors fighting hard to save people, and the hospital where my brother in law works the same.

Our medical system has many many many flaws and is getting worse but I do not believe all the caregivers/doctors/nurses etc were making sure people died so the hospital could make money.
They are to blame for censoring doctors who had proven results with Ivermectin & Hydroxy & were using more harmful method's. There is not a "small" population that saw evil & agenda in all this. Its a miracle my husband didn't die in the hospital, he came back home in worse condition then when i brought him- besides fervent prayer, the fact his doctor of 17vyears took personal interest during his hospitalization, it seemed he could have easily died from being kept from medicine proven to work against Covid

I thought this was widely known-
How much extra did the hospitals get paid if a person died vs. if that person survived?

It was widely discussed, esp wrt 2020 pandemic disasters peeking in NYC and Italy. (On forum in the COVID and Ivermectin threads,
i think.) It’s hard to accept when “everyone you know” is hard-working, over-worked, and dedicated (i’m in this group).
Enough was reported, i think it’s reasonable to believe errors were made, probably some big ones.

Every human construct requires accountability and oversight. That’s just life on earth.

It’s a shame when sins of some hurt innocent others. But that’s part of what results from sin.

He describes how he and his wife were inspired to speak in public. This video was recorded in Florida.

He’s a Trump supporter; for myself, i believe his message is not at all political. The crime/sin of murder is not partisan.
(i understand, the DNC decided to embrace abortion.) That leaves it to party members/voters to decide independently, which is not good.

COVID is a disease with a very low mortality rate. Yet people who went into hospitals consistently got put on ventilators and then died.
Yes many who had COVID died in the hospital and yes many on ventilators died. We were in the middle of a pandemic that doctors were figuring out what worked best in the midst of a very stressful time and hospitals were full with patients to the point of overflowing and opening extra beds in tents etc.
"What worked best" was things like ivermectin, not ventilators. Why did ventilators continue to be used even after it was clear they were both very expensive and also didn't work?
Our medical system has many many many flaws and is getting worse but I do not believe all the caregivers/doctors/nurses etc were making sure people died so the hospital could make money.
The hospital administrators (who pull the biggest salaries in hospitals, not caregivers, nurses, or even staff doctors) sure know how to make lots of money. And they kept their eyes squarely on big government payouts.

Here's a "fact check" for those of you who like "fact checks".

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/fac ... 000638001/
Our ruling: True
We rate the claim that hospitals get paid more if patients are listed as COVID-19 and on ventilators as TRUE.

Hospitals and doctors do get paid more for Medicare patients diagnosed with COVID-19 or if it's considered presumed they have COVID-19 absent a laboratory-confirmed test, and three times more if the patients are placed on a ventilator to cover the cost of care and loss of business resulting from a shift in focus to treat COVID-19 cases.
Hospitals got paid three times as much in addition to the already-high reimbursements for ventilators if the it was claimed to be for COVID-19. So hospitals put everyone on ventilators they could, and collected a payday. A lot of people died because of this.

Leaving patients off the ventilator and eventually discharging them from the hospital means no 3X payday.

Patients on a ventilator take a extraordinary amount of care. It would be ridiculous for Medicare to pay hospitals the same for an unventilated patient and one on a ventilator. The amount of patients that one nurse can take care of is drastically reduced when they’re on a ventilator.

This isn’t rocket science.

This isn’t rocket science.
And the fact of the matter is that since we were in a pandemic and public health emergency the Federal government agreed to reimburse hospitals for COVID care on an interim basis because they didn't want to see hundreds or thousands of COVID patients being turned away from hospitals and dying because they didn't have health insurance. That was part of the emergency declaration and why hospitals got more money for COVID than other diseases.

We don't have socialized medicine in this country. People generally need to have private insurance to get treatment paid for if they don't have Medicaid or Medicare. So hospitals don't automatically get reimbursed for every patient on a ventilator, such as say some chronic smoker who comes in with chronic pulmonary obstructive disease or some other condition that requires treatment by ventilator. They have to have private insurance or Medicare or they will run up huge medical bills.

Therefore, it wasn't anything sinister that caused COVID patients to produce higher hospital reimbursements or government subsidies. It was simply how the Federal government chose to respond to that pandemic emergency and the result of our system of private healthcare unlike say the UK where all health care is already public and publically subsidized.

For that NOT to have been the case we would either have had the Federal government tell Americans: (1) sorry, if you catch COVID and die because you can't pay for treatment or a respirator that isn't our problem, you are on your own, or (2) we are going to implement national socialized health insurance and the government is going to pay for all medical care of any kind.

Neither of those two things was going to happen.
