Russia possibly set to test a "doomsday weapon" (nuclear torpedo) that could cause 1600 ft tidal waves and wipe out coastal cities?

You can't? How about an example. Do you have an example of a state-owned media organ that is indistinguishable from independent media?
Which one was the state-owned one?
Exactly.

I never said they were state owned, I said I couldn't tell the difference, insofar as they're all reading from a single script that's handed to them, anyways. Looks the same to me, Ken. 8-)

Ken,

In case you aren't aware, there has been an almost wholesale merger of Deep State interests along with that of the megacorporation. One way this manifests is that basically every news outlet says the same thing.

The most obvious evidence for this nearly-complete capture of American discourse is how little attention is given to the fact the wealthy have basically taken over the entire country and own more and more of it, whilst 50% of Americans own almost nothing. This is exactly how the Deep State and the global elites want it.

Even if you insist on having a left-wing view, at least try to have as classically left-wing view and display some scepticism for state power and for the fusion of big business, big money, and the state.

Oh, I agree, there is a lot of media consolidation of local network news channels. Sinclair and Nexstar are to massive corporations that have bought up hundreds of local TV stations and the conservative Supreme Court has restricted the ability of the FCC to regulate this sort of media consoldiation: https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/tv-st ... s-5008372/

So it isn't surprising that you see similar messages from local stations that all have the same corporate owner. It is actually problematic. Both Sinclair and Nextstar are conservative leaning and have been criticized for their conservative ideological tilts.

But that is different from saying that independent media and state-owned media are the same thing. Here in the US the only real state-owned media is Voice of America and they are prohibited by law from broadcasting within the US.

Oh, I'm plenty skeptical of everything I see and read.

That is different from from being a Russia "fan-boy" who uncritically eats up every bit of Russian propaganda about Ukraine and dismisses every piece of information to the contrary as just "western propaganda trying to undermine Russia"

Sometimes war crimes actually are war crimes. And sometimes fake and fraudulent referendums actually are fake, fraudulent and illegal.

hmm. something’s missing .. pro-war, pro-hot war, pro-nuclear war.
but, Josh, this is now about career politicians and their singular normal. not about left-right division.
thus, singular reporting! - they match down to the word! (insurrection, sham) - keep it simple, guys!

now that we got rid of DJT, it’s “back to normal, everyone!” “as you were” 🔥

o.the nostaligia of returning to The Cold War days. (we can pray it won’t be worse-than.) no promises.
“never knowing” is what fueled The Cold War. continual FEAR of the worst. money in the bank.

going in, i had NO faith in DJT. i was amazed at how quickly “things” could be turned around for the better.
going in, i had no faith in biden+buds. i’ve been distraught at how quickly “things” could be turned for the worse.

both exceeded expectations.

This is a thread about Russia. Not Donald Trump's unhinged delusions.

It's ALWAYS a delusion when Democrats do it. Whether Trump's or somebody else's. It's Russian conspiracy theory!
